Mass Effect 3

The problem is that the "nerds" are just people and the "whining and hating" is just discourse. A discourse that you and others feel the need to interrupt with childish insults every chance you get because it involves opinions that you disagree with.

They're stil nerds, whining and hating. You can substitute those three keys words with any that you find non-offensive. People, shouting and disliking all work.

But in fairness, they were right. Lee essentially said NOTHING in a very polite way. At first they were so desperate for just any direct contact with a Bioware staffer that they ate it up. Then someone pointed out that he was just spewing the company line (exactly as the PR guy predicted would happen) and they felt a bit played.

Except what initially dragged him into the thread was that he wanted to explain that the whole N7 Goliath Weekend thing was not some kind of a move in response to all of this.

I mean what do people expect him to say? Here are the endings, please take them?

I've said it a hundred times....Bioware needs to just shut the hell up and let fans vent. Don't justify your decisions (it only makes people angrier). Don't drop ominous hints of what is to come. Either say something substantial or shut the hell up. All that Lee accomplished was making people even angrier.

Yeah because all of those "hold the line" people are so deep into this mess that I honestly think they've lost some serious perspective.

If anyone from BW is attempting to speak with them they should foster those lines of communication, not shun them in case they're being "FOOLED BY THE MAN".

But they essentially were fooled by the man. He played it exactly as that PR guy predicted.

the ending
it wasnt as bad as people are making it out to be, but still... disappointing. so no matter what shepard dies? all the mass relays are gone? the crucible or w.e. is a freaking kid. i would have preferred shepard survived. and where the **** was the final boss? really, it was basically wave 10 on hordemode. reminds me of bioshock 2s weak finale.

[BLACKOUT]Well there is an ending that shows Shepard taking a breath while lying in a pile of rubble. So i guess he can live in one of the scenarios.[/BLACKOUT]

How did they want him to respond? Enter the thread say **** you and leave?

Because when as you suggest Bioware doesn't respond and says nothing the boards go insane over how BW is ignoring them.

wtf? why didnt i get that ending? i have 5500 war assets, and went all paragon

Do you have at least 4000 Effective Military Score which is what you need for the Shepard Lives/Destroy ending.

And they go insane when they are acknowledged. It's lose/lose so until they have something worth saying they ought to just shut up.

Hence my original point that stuff like the Jarrett Lee thing is why Bioware is not openly discussing anything at the moment.

yea spidey i do... i didnt know which
of the 3 choices at the end were which. synthesis was the middle one, i assumed the paragon good ending was the blue left side, so i went to the left and shepard ends up looking like burnt toast, and ash joker and javik are chillin on some tropical planet

wtf

what did i pick? paragon is to control the reapers??? the entire series is about the paragon wanted to destroy them. god dammit.

Destroy means killing the Geth/EDI = Renegade.

Controlling the Reapers is not the same as Illusive Man's desire to dominate since you're essentially sending them away rather than using them for your own ends (at the expense of your own life).

man i dont even know where that
beam took me, dead humans and a organic looking keeper

according to the Indoctrination/Hallucination Theory.........

it's a trap. The Reapers want you to think the Blue/Control choice is the Paragon one. But, it's kind of interesting that the Destroy option ( the "Red/Renegade" choice ) is the only option where Shep can live ( which also contradicts what the Catalyst claims......that Destroy will kill Shep, too ). So......maybe, the Catalyst is also lying to you when he says Destroy will kill all synthetics ( including Edi and the Geth ).

It just makes the endings all the more.......confusing.......

I assume its the inaccessible core of the Citadel that was referenced in ME1.

You shouldn't pass that off as a fact. Its a fan theory at the moment.

yea that would make sense....
but edi and the geth die. and the reapers just stop attacking and move away

f*** me. and by the way, the freaking rachni did not help AT ALL. there was NOTHING. i saved the queen in me1, and i forgot the mission, but saved her again in me3 (i guess that was her).

[blackout]Destroy means committing genocide of the Geth and murdering EDI. In other word, Shepard gets to live but he has to throw his friend and an entire race under the bus to do so. Thus (if the ending is real) you can see why it is renegade. Shepard lives but the cost is high[/blackout]

matt,
i chose control...and edi/geth died.
