Everyone tends to have similar ideas when doing art, don't let it get you down, and I understand it's a hobbie, but if you want to do it then do it, don't let anyone try to lay claim over an idea that has been done before.

So....

I had a chance to catch my breath and cool down, so I decided to draw some more stuff for the food fight piece, which is back on.

Near dead Trix rabbit reaching for the ever-elusive bowl of Trix cereal.

Spuds McKenzie of Budweiser ads licking up... something.

Big Boy serving up a platter of Grimace's head... Grimace of McDonald's ads of course.

Wendy with a hammer she's using to hurt the Kool-Aid guy.

As it stands, I have a couple more characters planned:

*Chuck E Cheese from the pizza chain.
*The Noid from Domino's pizza.
*Captain Crunch from his own cereal.
*Snap, Crackle, and Pop from Rice Krispies.
*Jolly Green Giant.
*Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

Beyond that, there is probably room for 1 or 2 more characters.

Any more suggestion?

i gave you a bunch!, and honestly... add more room. I'd really like to see you do a piece where you just keep looking at and going o wow! and everytime you look at it you find something new... i say put as many in as you can. Things are lookin great! the more the better I say. Just adds to the chaos that makes it amazing

Matt's work is amazing piece by piece... you could cut and paste it onto the back end of a donkey and I'll stare at it for hours - having said that... this is a very nice piece of work as well. The three individual pieces are awesome, but putting them together actually forms a sort of unintentional theme - Elphaba, before just looked cool and 20's stylish, now she looks incognito. Its lovely work.

As I read through the posts I was terrified this piece was going to be scrapped... homicidal Pilsbury with a knife and rolling pin DEMANDS to exist! You can't let him down!

Big update...

First, a big layout shot that I'd LOVE to hear comments on because I'm not exactly comfortable with these dense chaotic scenes.

You'll note many of your character suggestions have been incorporated, along with the suggestion that i try to pack as many characters in as possible (Initially I was shooting for 20, but I'm in the mid 30s so far).

Also I started laying in some color...

The Kool-Aid Guy and Ronald will be one of the hardest tasks while coloring to achieve the look of glass, liquid, and someone partially in the liquid. For now, just some are color...

Also, some flat color on M&Ms and the Doughboy...

More in time.

Again, I'd love to hear thoughts on the layout!

it's lookin great so far... and glad you decided to add more , the more the better...

it's too small right now for me to tell whats going on in the back... but looking good so far.. though i'd move the M&M's closer to the dough boy... for more of an effect....

and i just thought it'd be funny if you had aunt Jamima with her head cracked, and syrup pouring out.... and it causing some other character to get stuck and trapped with impending doom.

and keep adding more! this is lookin great. I'm glad you're challenging yourself , I've notice a great improvement in your work, if you go back through this thread it's very apparent! this is gonna rock so much when your done! (and you better add the 7up spot mr! just for me! lol)

That really is all kinds of badass, form what I have seen so far it will end up being my favourite thing you have done. I only have 1 really minor point, isn't the green M&M supposed to be a girl? I know that's waaaaaaaay nitpicky, but I just thought I'd mention it.

yeah, there's 4 m&m mascots... 2 peanut (yellow and blue, blue is usually with a saxaphone), and 2 milk chocolate (red and green, green is the girl)

Aunt Jemima isn't the syrup bottle that is in the shape of a woman... that's Mrs. Butterworth's.... And in a case of, great minds think alike... I already included the exact idea you cited in my layout. The blank space to the right on of the layout will be filled with a kinda broken down wall, and then some characters in front of it, but I did sketch in what will be behind the wall, Mrs. Butterworth pouring syrup on an unseen victim whose hands indicate a certain amount of agony.... It's right by Wendy's hammer in the layout I posted.

(I kinda love you for suggesting that)

ps, i know its super small but cool spot is peaking out between the legs of Grimace's corpse.

o and totally just noticed Jolly green giant vs stay pufft marshmallow... thats all kinds of badass!

I guess I'll be making the green one a girl, AND making the orange one blue... I had no idea how little i knew about M&M's.

Awesome, I really look forward to seeing it and I really hope my mentioning didn't offend you, I honestly have a lot of respect for the hard work you put in and I honestly try and avoid upsetting people with way more talent than me.

o and i duno... not really a fan of the burger king being a skull... he's the only one who's gonna be unrecognizable... maybe have his corpse on the ground, with his face shattered like a porcelain doll... that'd be horrifyingly creepy actually...
