I've been thinking about doing a dense battle scene with non-comic book characters recently...
I decided to go with the them of what I'll call 'brand mascots'.
In other words, the classic that are created for no other reason than to promote a product... So, Bart Simpson's "Nobody's Gonna Lay A Finger On My Butterfinger" does not apply.
In this sketch, the Kool-Aid guy is holding a crack on his side, and McDonald's Hamburglar is drowning Ronald McDonald in Kool-Aid.
In this sketch, Lucky from Lucky Charms is kicking some a**! He's choking Frankenberry with marshmallow horseshoe, while Count Chocula and Boo Berry die from being stabbed by a marshmallow moon and star, respectively.
All characters planned in the bigger picture are:
*Kool-Aid Guy.
*Hamburglar from McDonald's.
*Ronald McDonald from McDonald's.
*Lucky from Lucky Charms
*Count Chocula from his own cereal.
*Frankenberry from his own cereal.
*Boo Berry from his own cereal.
*Chuck E Cheese from the pizza chain.
*The Noid from Domino's pizza.
*Tony the Tiger from Frosted Flakes.
*Toucan Sam from Fruit Loops.
*Kid Vid from the Burger King Kid's Club
*Spuds McKenzie from Budweiser.
*Slurms McKenzie a Spuds McKenzie parody from 'Futurama' product Slurm.
*Grimace from McDonald's.
*Wendy from Wendy's.
*A California Raisin.
*Sprout from Green Giant.
*A few M&M's.
*The Pillsbury Dough Boy.
*The rabbit from Trix.
*Captain Crunch from his own cereal.
*Snap, Crackle, and Pop from Rice Krispies.
*Buzz the Bee from Honey Nut Cheerios.
*Sugar Bear from Super Golden Crisp.
I'm limiting it to characters associated with FOOD products, but if you you think I left someone out, PLEASE let me know. I'd love to hear suggestions!
