well i like making your pics as my desktop.. so 1280x960 ish? doesnt have to be quite that big... the pic you posted of spider-man and black cat was fine. It scaled up without losing quality.

Cool.. I actually have these pics in much bigger sizes so anything I post will be scaled down, but I just wasn't clear on what 'big' means.

looking good man!! i just hope the ends of his mask are gonna be flapping in the breeze...!? love the personality on raph's face... you got the character down perfect! i get the feeling you have a certain affection for the cartoon incarnation? hilariously and lamely called teenage mutant HERO turtles over here in the UK... cos, ninja is like, too badass for poor little limey kids to handle... all the nunchaku bits were edited out of the cartoons and the movies for us sheltered brits, too!

First, I am gonna add the mask ends, but I wanted to lay in the background before, so I can get a sense of how they should be positioned.

As for your turtle comments, I will admit to loving the cartoon. I was one of those kids in the early 90's with every freaking toy they put out.

After seeing your pic, I feel mine might be a bit of a cop out since it's more cartoon turtles rather than comic turtles, but what are you gonna do, right?

PS: I did hear about the edits in the UK at some point. I always wondered how the original live action movie played out, because in the US it has kids smoking cigarettes and using switch blades... maybe a BIT misguided.

Well, I'm done with my new piece for round 3 of MrH7448's shh fantart battle.

The theme for round 3 is simply "NOTHING FROM MARVEL OR DC", so I had about 8 glocktillion ideas, but I recently got a request for a 'TMNT' piece, so I thought... I gotta do Raph.

I had the idea of him on a bike, but nothing more. When I went to fill in the background, I thought... ONE RULE: NO SKYLINE! With that, I don't know why but a massive explosion just felt right....
