^Exactly, the perception of connection could cause a problem for Fox, regardless of if the perception is valid. A corporate lawyer would think of that.

See Mutant X

The latest Marvel One Shot "All Hail the King" is the third way Marvel can connect the Netflix shows with the MCU, but probably the easiest.

Without a doubt. The way it ends is the perfect seway into the story of a certain imprisoned hero.

Bingo. And it's not like Marvel had any room to negotiate or had plans to use the character for anything else.

The other two ways are also doable, but one's a bit harder than the other one. The other two ways:

1. Introduce Jennifer Walters on any of the shows before she becomes She Hulk. The connection to the MCU is so obvious because her cousin is Bruce Banner.
2. Misty Knight. This is harder to do depending on the direction. Introducing her is easy. It's how she ends up getting her bionic arm that needs a little creativity. I will be shocked if she's not introduced in Iron Fist. I have zero doubt she'll be on the Netflix shows, most likely Iron Fist. But what form? Is she introduced before she gets the bionic arm? Or after? If she's introduced before she gets the bionic arm, it's going to be harder (but with a little creativity very doable) to give her the arm. If she does get the arm when we first meet her, it will probably be similar to how she got it in the comics (Made by Tony Stark).

I'm hoping Jennifer Walters shows up as another lawyer in Daredevil's series.

Jennifer is also an easy connection between the Netflix Defenders and MCU. Of course she has to have some sort of resemblance to Ruffalo.

Eh, I have cousins that look nothing like me. I don't think they really need to worry about that.

I loved IM3, yet also like the notion that the Mandarin, the REAL one, is out there somewhere, but isn't it kind of pointless considering the very low odds that we'll be having another solo Iron Man movie?

Maybe that's the key to getting RDJ in for the fourth movie. He really wanted to do the real Mandarin story. Or maybe they'll use it for another movie (Avengers 3) or for the Netflix shows. There are so many possibilities when you think about it

I don't think that it's at all clear that there won't be another IM movie. The real question is whether or not it will star RDJ. Feige has already said that when the original actors get too old or want to move on, then they'll simply recast the roles. We probably will get an IM 4 eventually, it just might be with a different actor.

Definitely, but I'd rather they keep it in the IM films. The Mandarin is an Iron Man villain and unless they do Masters of Evil in Avengers 3 (which would be awesome, but considering the MCU's trajectory, impossible), I'd rather they just do one final IM with the Mandarin.

Me too. That's why I think this might be a carrot on a stick for RDJ

I certainly hope so! It'd be the perfect way to cap off his run as IM. Maybe add in a little of World's Most Wanted and The 5 Nightmares from Fraction's run and they've got one hell of a film.

They're only cousins. They don't have to resemble each other at all.

I would be very surprised at this point if they didn't lure him back for one final film.

Hi guys. Great discussion. I wanted to chime in on Avengers 3 plot ideas posted above. All great, but I'm sure I am preaching to the choir when I say that it's always been Infinity Gauntlet locked in for Avengers 3.

Of course, but as is Marvel's m.o. Phase Three will hint at Phase Four. They're not going to cap off the MCU after Infinity Gautlet, they'll segwey it to something else in the process of the story unfolding.

Oh of course... this will go on forever. :BA

I am excited to see what's next! Once they introduce the Fantastic Four reboot, I imagine it's time for Galactus and The Skrull.

Hint at the Skrulls in Fantastic Four 2 and introduce Galactus in 3

Wait, are you guys talking about if Marvel gets the FF back or what will happen with the craptastic FOX reboot?

I love the FF, but I can't stand it that Fox owns them.

I haven't read avenger comics since a little after Civil War.

Is The Vision in the comics created by Tony Stark as an offshoot of his JARVIS A.I like it's going to be in the movies?

No. The Vision was created by Ultron and used to infiltrate The Avengers...he went good and helped them and became a full time member
