hmm interesting
what ever could she have been working on?

I bet fight training or maybe just a return to a crazy superhero physique gym routine.

Hopefully they'll finally be giving her a big role & reducing or eliminating characters like Darcy entirely.

^Agreed. Darcy had an important job to do as an uninitiated audience stand-in early on but she's not needed any more.

G'day,

Love to see a warriors Three movie too. I just thought am opportunity to see the AOS super people shine would be something. Bobbie Morse is a Black Widow level action girl but we really haven't seen her at that level yet. Love to see May lead the team especially , as I suspect will happen, she get turbocharged.

ta

Raph

If they made a TV movie, I'd prefer it take a different approach than the tv shows. Maybe a replacement for the One Shots (which seem to have gone away). Really, I just want a Warriors Three story.

The Punisher deserves a reboot same with Daredevil and Blade

Getting rid of Jane will free up plenty of room for Darcy to assume her rightful place as Thor's #1 Earth-based supporting character. Then the tears of Darcy haterz everywhere will flow like rivers as I laugh from my skull-bedecked throne.

So my sister got a marvel sweater for Christmas and it featured black panther, Doc Strange, black bolt and Medusa, iron fist and Daredevil. No flagship franchise heroes. All relatively obscure heroes who will receive a movie or show in the next 5 years. Its like it was a phase 3 preview. Great marketing on marvels part.

Very cool

Glad they're starting to give the upcoming guys some focus.

WAR ZONE and GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE are of course much maligned CBMs. And probably deservingly so. But if you take them as over-the-top Marvel Knight bat**** crazy films then they kinda work. And I proudly own those two and we'll take them any day over bland color by number CBMs like the first GHOST RIDER or F4 or the Jane PUNISHER or DAREDEVIL. I'm probably in the minority there.

But yes, the properties need to be rebooted to exist in the MCU.

Exactly. Just seems like by keeping characters like that invaluable screen-time they are neglecting the chance to fully expand on Thor's universe. And considering he has 9 realms to protect, there's a lot of material to be explored.

This pun is too good not to share here:

That's awesome, I had no idea Marvel was doing that already but it's an incredibly smart move.

The ONLY MCU films I mess with:

Iron Man - 4.5 / 5
Iron Man 2 (kinda) - 3 / 5
Winter Soldier - 4 / 5

The rest are corny AF. Avengers, and GOTG are particularly corny. Chris Pratt is about as annoying as it gets. Can't wait for him to ruin my Jurassic Park franchise. Ugh.

Not long till the MCU becomes the overall no.1 film franchise by some distance worldwide (already well clear domestically).

I had a count down in my signature for a while for when they'd become the highest grossing worldwide, once it passes that mark in May I might put that back in my signature.

What exactly is "corny" about the Avengers or Guardians?

Oh yes that's right. Will probably happen very early into AoU's run and then we have 2/3 films per year planned till IW2. Many more billions to be added!

No doubt about that, we've got a lot to look forward to.
I see a lot of people saying that this next sequel will either equal or surpass the original one's box office take; I think I might be the only one who is somewhat hesitant to make that claim. It wouldn't shock me if it did, I'm sure AoU will gross over a billion with ease, but I'm not positive how it will compare to the first one. We'll have to wait and see.
And if it did end up not outgrossing it's predecessor I can already hear the idiots here. "Oh wow, well I guess this movie just didn't resonate with people. Clearly the Marvel brand is dying." :o

Right! When does it stop? When can we just enjoy what we have? This great age of CBMs (minus FFINO). DC vs. Marvel? I love both! And that's okay, fanboys. Haters gonna hate, ain'ters gonna ain't.

I think most people would agree with us, but the ones that aren't are a loud, obtrusive minority.

AoU will also see the MCU pass the entire WW gross for ALL Pixar films combined as long as AoU can pull down $1.428 billion or better. And given that Ant-Man comes out 2 months later it's guaranteed that AoU+Ant-Man tops that number.
