Couldnt find the Fantastic Four thread, but if they decide to cast Michael Fassbender in the MCU, I think he would be a great Dr. Doom

Fassbender as Marvel's two most iconic supervillains? That'd be quite the resume.

Fassbender would be amazing as Doctor Doom however if fox sold the fantastic four rights to marvel I don't know if fox would allow him play as Dr. Doom in the mcu

Covenant not to Compete contracts are highly disfavored, especially under California law. That can probably be worked around by contracting for a different state's laws, but it still makes it less likely. I've never heard an actor say that their movie contract prevents them from taking another movie's role. I suspect it isn't the case here.

Hawkeye was the only one of the original Avengers to not win or tie for first in a single state. In fact, of the 596 respondents who picked a hero, only approximately 29 chose Hawkeye — less than 5%.

I was under the impression Fassbender isn't/wasn't under contract. I might be wrong though.

He's under contract for three films and that expires, yeah. That's another knock against the idea that he isn't allowed in another superhero franchise. That being said, you can have a contract that prevents you from competing against them even after your job ends (it's just even less likely to be valid).

Are there any heroes in the Marvel universe who are absolute utter unlikeable *****es who could be adapted to the big screen? Do they even have heroes like that at all?

In "Crash", Matt Dillon's policeman character was completely racist and bigoted, but he still risked his own life to save the black woman whom he harassed and molested before from a burning car wreck.

I suppose it's only really in the Ultimates that they have "heroes" like that but not in the 616? But would Marvel actually want to put someone like that on the big screen for audiences? Or would that be too much?

Iron Man fit the bill post-Civil War. But his movie decidedly focused on other eras of his characterization.

John Walker who has been Super-Patriot, Captain America and USAgent, has gotten about as close to 'Marvel's Guy Gardner' as it gets, and even then, he's a lot less obnoxious (and is practically a walking advertisement for *not* registering, since his ID was outed by some disgruntled former allies, and his parents got murdered because of it).

Paladin and Hellstrom, last seen as Heroes for Hire, tend to be different levels of jerk (one totally mercenary, the other a womanizing jerk who cheats on his wife, Patsy Walker).

Yeah, not to mention that if Fox did something like that, they'd soon find it hard to hire talented actors. Who would sign on with a studio known for blocking actors from working?

Ha, thats great. I love Renners delivery of that line, with that little shrug of the shoulder.

It feels like they should have one in Washington DC as well.

for Washington, DC , they need a statue of Baron Von Strucker, since that was where Hydra took down SHIELD

for Sokovia, they need a statue of Ultron, towering over Quicksilver lying on the ground

for New York, they need a statue of Loki

Man, just looking at the schedule for the next few years, the wait between Strange and GotG2 (6 months) is the longest we'll have to wait for an MCU film until the gap between Ant Man/Wasp & Capt Marvel (8 months).

So once we hit GotG2 it's 2 months to Spidey> 4 months to Ragnarok> 3.5 months to Black Panther> 2.5 months to IW1> 2 months to Ant Man/Wasp >>> then 8 months to Cpt Marvel> 2 months to IW2.

That's gonna fly.
