The is the rumor of feige and Ike not getting along. They control the film and television divisions of marvel prospectively so collaboration seems unlike under the current circumstances.
Honestly, I don't think Perlmutter is the biggest issue. Yes, he absolutely could be a theoretical roadblock since he has final say on the TV side, but the day to day stuff is Jeph Loeb. His relationship, to me, matters more. Frankly, I have no idea how they get along. I could see Loeb being a fun guy and I could see him being the most annoying person on the planet, so who knows?
How likely is it that Spider-man will appear in Infinity War? It would make sense, and I really hope it does happen.
The only figure Im sure she will not show up is Wasp.
The Russos said it feels wrong to give her in CW because she isnt complete introduce in the Antman-Franchise.
Cant imagine that they change there mind to IW
I'm sure he'll be in. Being able to put Spidey into universe events is surely why Marvel bothered making a deal with Sony in the first place rather than just getting involved in solos. There wouldn't have been any need to put him in CW at the last minute and have Stark already a big character in his development and part of his solo if this wasn't a motivation.
Yes, as a kid in his first superhero showdown he took on Winter Soldier and Falcon at the same time and put a veteran like Cap through his paces. Can only imagine what a mature Spidey will be capable of.I hope you're right. Rewatching Civil War, he's so clearly more powerful than some of the others out there at just 15 (he went toe to toe with Cap and would've beat him if he had the experience), so he'd be very useful in Infinity War.

If anything though, he'll be in IW for real life popularity reasons more so than his power set which will still not be all that useful against Thanos. I do hope we get to see him wreck whoever Thanos populate his armies with. In just a brief, unimportant, almost disposable role in CW, he managed to improve the film for most with comedy, heart and inventive combat, and I can see this and much more in IW with the Russos aware ahead of time that he will be available. Cap and Iron Man will still call the shots but Marvel will want Spidey to gradually become a major face of the future of the MCU.
I don't know how many more solo films Evans Cap and Stark Iron Man will have and the effect of RDJ as the face of Phases 1-3 has been to boost the whole MCU rather than just his own films. Any individual character is only looking at a limited number of solos and the role of whoever is representing the MCU in this way is much bigger than that (and Spidey is also one of the only characters big enough to fulfil that role). Hopefully the deal with Sony allows this to happen.I mean, Happy probably won't be in Infinity War, and somebody's obviously being set up to become Tony's comedic new sidekick.
But in all seriousness, uh, i'm not sure Marvel would want Spidey as 'the face of the MCU' considering they don't make any money off of his solo films.
The picture of Holland with RDJ, Feige, Johnny Favreue and the Russo bros. made me think they were discussing Infinity War. I'm sure Spider-Man will make an appearance.

I think both Sony and Marvel recognize the value of having Spidey among the other big-name superheroes.
And at this point (without the FF or X-Men), Spidey has claim to be one of the few characters with actual powers. If you think about it, the majority of characters in the MCU use technology as opposed to actual powers.
They could do with a few more like that. It would be great if we had the FF in the MCU too, as they'd also have powers and wouldn't be via the Inhuman route that Agents of SHIELD uses to make all their super humans.
