Both those decisions of actresses are wonderful. I've seen the other girl on Luthor. She's incredibly talented. If Marvel doesn't grab her, someone will.

That said I don't really trust the Daily Mail. We used to mock them on the Doctor Who board for their laughably bad Doctor Who spoilers. I'm sure Joss is still considering who should be in his movie so he's probably not ready to talk to actresses yet.

Of course it's the Daily Mail so take with a mountain of salt, but it certainly wouldn't surprise me if they were after her for Carol Danvers. Ruth Wilson is a great actress as well so no complaints there if by shear chance they had an accurate source.

Wouldn't surprise me if the character is in Avengers 2 either considering both Whedon and the chance for Marvel to try and launch a solo female superhero franchise before WW gets off the ground.

If fans had to cast the avengers i guess, we could count Tom Hiddleston and Scarlet Johannson out... And Chris Hemsworth because he didnt have long enough hair... And Cobie Smulders because she didnt have Short Hair...

Thats all farcical if you ask me...
As long as the Actor or Actress best embodies the character and portrays them brilliantly, all these other small things really dont matter...

I honestly think Emily Blunt is better used on someone else where she could be perfect for the role. I personally think that she would've been more suitable for Black Widow than Scarlett Johansson.
