I think WB should start Retelecasting Justice League Animated series atleast asian countries.Avengers and star wars show are telecasting new episodes. It will help to attract interest of kids in JL characters and increase footfalls for JL movie.

and a Wonder Woman solo TAS is long overdue, and now timing is perfect, globally.

I watched the Conan episode was fantastic, really funny. Best bit was when Jesse was talking about Zod's wax corpse ha ha

Yes, Jesse is hilarious. And the whole cast has really great chemistry. Glad they're having fun together.

Yeah, that was one Conan's best episodes, even he said so himself.

Its a great cast and you can feel the chemistry between them.

You know, I knew I was going to enjoy Gal as Wonder Woman, but she really blew me away. Has me even more excited for her solo film.

Also, I don't know about anyone else, but when Bruce was looking at her file and saw that picture of her from WWI and her theme came on....I got goosebumps. I don't know why, but I did. Can't wait for next year!!

Did you see 3D or 2D?

Saw it in IMAX 3D 2 times. They rarely show IMAX 3D equipped movies in IMAX 2D in my country and there are no shows for IMAX 2D for BVS. But it was amazing both times in IMAX 3D. I'm going to see it in IMAX 3D in another city next week. I might check it out in 2D for a fourth time if it's still running in another 2 weeks.

I keep thinking how BvS is like a graphic novel brought to life and then I keep thinking whwt an awesome graphic novel BvS would make.

Oh man, that is what we NEED right now. I would love to read this movie in an expanded form in a comic or graphic novel format! :D

Haha, I totally loved her too! She was absolutely perfect. My all time fav moment was her laughing when Doomsday threw her so hard that her sword and shield went flying. Pefect warrior Wondy right there! :D

Btw @ everyone, had my second viewing today. Was absolutely blown away this time since I had prepped myself this entire week by reading all of Mark Hughes's positive articles, reading all the stuff in this thread, that Greek Revenge Tragedy article and then listening to the OST on a loop everyday of the week haha.

I rewatched MOS last night and caught so many references and connections between the movies and when I saw BVS again today, I made those connections and was on an emotional roller coaster the entire movie! :D

It got me to tear up 3 times, I was bawling through the entire last part of the movie from the ending of the Doomsday fight to the end of the funeral scene. It got me right in the feels and it's just what I needed and wanted. Such an amazingly cathartic experience.

Funnily it was today, in my second viewing and not the first that it hit me like a truck that I am alive to see these characters on the big screen for the first time and in such glory that it is almost unimaginable and unbelievable that it actually exists. That this is atually happening and I am actually watching the Batman and Superman movie that I have dreamed about since I was a kid. My awe was palpable. :D

This time I picked up on all the things I didn't in my first viewing like the fact that the Knightmare scene wasn't actually a nightmare at all, it was an actual future that was averted by Flash coming back and the movies events taking place as they did. Batman doesn't actually see that stuff, it's only for the viewer to see. Batman only remembers the Flash and what he said about Supes. Also, I noticed how Superman says two or three times in the movie that "this is not my world" and how he is not only talking about the fact that Krypton is dead but that the good world and delusion that he was living in was dead as well. That's why when he says "this IS my world" at the end of the movie, it really means a lot and really gets you in the gut. Stuff like that.

Goddamn, this movie is a freaking masterpiece and a perfect melding of themes and characters and imagery and music and everything so perfectly put together that it doesn't get any better than this. All my hopes and dreams of what this movie should have been are now fulfilled. I might have a single gripe with the movie about Doomsday not looking exactly like he does in the comics and be all spiky but that can also be easily overlooked and doesn't really affect my experience too much.

Thank you Zack Snyder for another masterpiece from your visionary mind! :hmr:

Can't wait to see Snyder's latest masterpiece in its full uncut glory in a few months!

*Lightning flashes, a portal opens*

"Am I too overenthusiastic about this movie? I'm too overenthusiastic about this movie."

Freaking awesome man!

No surprise you loved it, considering you talked about it with me yesterday.

This was just the second DCEU movie, imagine 7-8 movies in, the level of storytelling and depth they can achieve. They seem to be all in with the time travel, alternate realtities. They just need to be given a chance.

:D Lived it, loved it. This movie and the experience have actually made me a better person now. I realised with that whole spoiler situation with my friend that what happened was making me angry and cynical and hateful (like Batman) and that's why I couldn't enjoy the movie the first time. But yesterday, I totally forgave my friend, accepted that I can't change the past or change other people's behaviour and actions towards me and that I can only remain good and in control of my own reactions to events and always do the right thing (like Superman) and so I thoroughly enjoyed the movie the second time.

This has been a life altering experience and given me a better moral code to live by, my god, haha. :gngl:

How many movies can one say that about really? Speaks volumes of the quality of this masterpiece! :)

YEASS! I'm beyond overjoyed that they are going all out for the fans and deciding to do their own thing compared to other CBM franchises and use the Flash so prominently to tie together these characters and their stories.

Seeing that Flash scene in BVS is most probably the most excited I've ever gotten in a theater! :)

Very interesting debate

Only second movie, and **** is already flying. 5-6 movies in, it's gonna be really interesting to look back on all of this.

Oh god yes, however many movies in. I'm intrigued to see how Aquaman ends up working.

I watched BvS two days ago. I had read some reviews (all of them negative) and somehow I even managed to go full spoilers with this one. Hey, if the movie was that bad as everyone suggested, I might as well prepare myself. I went to the movie theater with an imaginary shovel, ready to "bury" the movie in an instant, my expectations at their lowest.

Boy, I was wrong! As soon as the movie begun, I somehow stopped worrying about noticing "flaws" and "plot holes" and I took notice of the direction. As soon as I saw young Bruce in the cave, levitating among the bats, I said to myself "that's not that bad.". What made me even more assured was the Metropolis sequence during the events of MoS: It looked absolutely spectacular, the whole street level POV and Bruce driving skillfully, evading debris and explosions. The scale of it was amazing! Juxtaposing that scale were some sequences the had, appropriately, a dream-like quality to them, such as the intro, that shot of Bruce among the ashes with the horse passing by or even Clark and Lois in their apartment (HELLO Amy Adams!).

As the movie progressed, instead of feeling dread, I was impressed. "Oh, here comes Lex, surely he'll be awful" - no, surprisingly he wasn't! I hated him in the trailers but here, somehow, his character worked, ticks and feeding gummy bears to senators and all. And I didn't bother my mind with finding "errors" in his plans or triple layers of motivation or, or, or. I just sat back and relaxed. "OK, this is their Lex, fine".

Oh, "mopey" Superman is here! - No, he wasn't. I realized, even during MoS that this is not Superman from the comics, nor the other adaptations. I simply accepted this and moved on. And it was much better. Hey, I was one of the "Cavillry" back then, during the Casting Wars. Critics call him a non-entity (both the actor and the character), which I found absurd. Here, I absolutely loved the sequence where he does all those heroic deeds, where humans talk about what to make of him. And how awesome was the post-nuke regeneration, straight out of "The Dark Knight Returns"?

Batffleck was great, never had a doubt, but he was even better than expected. Oh, he kills people! You know what, I can accept even this one. I can find a couple of motivations he became cruel, as Alfred points out. And of course he had fantastic scenes, like him evading the police after branding that criminal, shot by Snyder as a mini horror movie. The chase with the Batmobile. The fight with Superman. Martha's rescue. The fight with Doomsday. His interactions with Diana (how great was Diana?!)

I kept watching, in awe, thinking that anytime now, the movie will drop the ball. It never happened. Were there elements that I didn't like? Sure, but somehow, thankfully, they never bothered me. Except the Flash. Ezra Miller seems to be terribly miscast. :o

Look, me and my geeky friends, all in our 30s have long accepted that DC will do their thing and it will look like MoS and BvS. And it is fine. They can be the dark epics and, well, the "other guys" can have their colorful, fun thing, which I also find awesome. But to see BvS getting slammed by the vast majority of critics was and remains baffling. I, for one, am happy to be proven wrong.

why haven't I discovered this thread sooner?!
the movie was a 10/10 for me(by comparison I gave MOS an 8/10)
I thought it improved upon the criticisms I had of MOS, and somehow managed to exceed even my high expectations

What I loved about the movie:
-The performances and dialogue- Has there ever been a comic book movie with such good dialogue and phenomenal performances?? Everyone brought their A-game, shout to Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg & Holly Hunter
-The action scenes- wow- Wonder Woman vs Doomsday in particular- The shots that follow her as she's slammed through debris etc etc were standouts
- The dark grounded tone- Usually a complaint, but this is exactly the kind of tone I want in a big epic superhero film(that being said, I have never read a comic book in my life, but I quite enjoy superhero movies, at least some of them)
- the plot- loved that they took the criticism of over-destruction in MOS and made it into a seemingly organic plot point, very clever.
- the editing- again, I've heard endless complaints about the unconventional editing style BVS employs, however, I found it highly effective at keeping the pace up while managing to balance all the major storylines without ever losing sight of each other. Genius in my eyes. The movie doesn't have a lot of the breathing room, but its fast paced and they seemed to spend a lot of time on the editing. It would have been easier to do so conventionally, giving each story line time to breathe without breaking them up, though I fear viewers would have forgotten about the subplots if they were swept aside for too long. Very curious to see the Ultimate Cut as its clearly going to be quite different on a technical level.

This was literally everything I wanted this movie to be, and more. I found it to be a smartly written and beautiful acted movie with stunning visuals.

This is a film the more its watched the better it gets, its got such amazing rewatch value.

I'm glad so many of you guys enjoyed this (*thumbs up emoji*) don't forget to let Snyder and Co know via social media

I love how you totally reverse psychology'd the heck out of it and so ended up liking it all the more! :hehe:

Welcome to the brightest spot on this side of the internet! :woot: I'm so glad this thread exists to let us all revel in this magnificent moment in history without any negativity! :)

You're right about the editing, a complaint I'm never going to understand. I loved MOS's editing and loved this movie's editing.

I love it when a movie always keeps me engaged and on my toes not knowing what to expect when.

How's that gonna help at this stage?

Letting people who spent years of time and effort making a movie know there are fans who really loved it? It helps. They read it. Give em some love. Henry especially. He's just a spectacular person

It won't give us, what the minority want...which is for Snyder to finish. Let's be honest...too much money is on the line.

If I had my wish, Snyder would do JUSTICE LEAGUE and be gone. At least he'd finish his story. After that, WB can quip the **** out of the DC Universe for all I care.

We, in this thread, ain't gonna get what we want out of this. The last week in this forum has proven this. It's just a matter of when this is all gonna go down. I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow is that day.

We'll see, I guess. I've let it be known on social media for a week how I felt about this film. We're being drowned out. Let's just call it what it is.

It's going to be very, very interesting WB's next move. I ain't gonna be surprised if the hammer falls because it will fall. It just depends on how hard.
