No Time To Die (Bond 25)

I think there were a lot of factors, other than being such a great Bond song. The film itself being the phenomenon that it was making a billion, Adele at her apex, Bond’s 60th anniversary. Everything was in the cards that year.
I honestly am curious on how Adele does with this next album and see if she maintains her success.

I want to see this Galaxy Quest-esque movie of what happens when he's all who's left to command.

Feels a little crass, though, to actual service members, doesn't it?

Not at all, it's for ambassadors that serve the cause... you know how much charity and exposure he has given them and will continue to? No one expects him to be conducting crew rounds, but they know he is part of the family. Not crass at all.

Actually, Skyfall got a lot of radio play. That song was huuuuge. I remember hearing it a ton at the time.

I feel in the uk a lot of the songs get air time, some become classics. I still get chills when I hear the intro to 'you know my name'.

Golden eye, sky fall are classics of the modern era.

I’m not worried about Eilish since she already won an award for the song and she’s very popular at the moment so when this does come out in a couple weeks, a lot of people will probably be hearing the song for the first time.

Skyfall was the only Craig era song I heard a lot on the radio compared to others maybe the fact it one an oscar for best song helped
You guys were lucky. I don't remember hearing "Skyfall" on the radio back then, just whatever electronic auto-tuned crap that was popular at the time.

It really is wild to me that it's been almost 15 years since Casino Royale and that even though Roger Moore has been in the most Bond films, Craig still has had the longest tenure in the role in terms of sheer passage of time (not counting Connery in Never Say Never Again, of course). It really doesn't feel that long to me.

If the film is really long they could've just padded it out more and then split it into two. Then we'd get another Bond film out of Craig.

Then we’d all complain about how it was padded into two films and should’ve been one.

Brosnan always looked like he knew he was on camera or handsome... Connery, just didn't care... Moore was enjoying himself...

I must admit and I have said this before.... an actor in his 30's portraying Bond as he gets tapped up from the Navy, his first foray into the secret service, how his journey unfolds to oo agent is very appealing to me.

For instance - Dan Stevens as Bond, 5 years before he gains oo status. His missions, the learning curves along the way... he's recruited when not deployed for the Navy and we see him rose as a Commander - it takes about 18 years to reach it. They never explored that angle, they never showed us just how he became an expert marksman and his life in London, why he loves the cars.

An even rawer Bond than what we saw in Casino Royal, that's what I want to see.

“Paloma is a really complete character. She’s definitely something else that I don’t think we’ve seen in other Bond girls in previous movies.

These quotes are always so funny, most likely from someone who only watched the trailers to the Sean Connery films lol

They probably have a list of contenders, but they’re not going to distract from No Time To Die’s publicity by announcing Craig’s replacement so quickly. We’ll probably get something next summer.

One can only hope they announce the next Bond like they announced that Mario casting.

"Chris Pratt is James Bond. He is so cool."

Like Daniel Craig, I hope it’s a fantastic actor nobody is even thinking about as Bond.

I remember pre-Casino Royale, there was a lot of momentum for Clive Owen to play Bond that when Daniel Craig was cast it was a bit of a shock. I do think that Craig is a better actor than Owen so I don't think we missed out on anything. I just remember there being a backlash that Craig was a blonde.
