It's one of my favorite board games.
Gotcha. Thanks!
No problem. Too bad Jon only gets 4-5 minutes to interview a guest.

I feel like im doing a piss poor explanation of it.Awesome! Thanks so much for the info

I think he numbers EVERY SHOT as opposed to every scene from the script.

Seriously.I can say I've been in this business for awhile and I've never seen them mixed. I guess all that matters is the editor and the script supervisor are on the same page

Haha, me too. Strip Scrabble!

Sorry for asking again Subaru and Rangork, but I don't remember if you responded, but will you be revealing the Catwoman info AFTER they are done filming in Pittsburgh and have shipped off?

Especially seeing the photo a few posts above using letters for camera angles, yet other photos showing extremely higher numbers with no letters!
Interesting system they have going on.

I don't mean this in a negative way Goku, but I have to say that you REALLY have a hard on for this Catwoman info! I'm just saying that I am amazed at how persistent you are! I mean, wow! Now I understand why your handle reads as it does! I applaud you for your persistence.:

It's been eating me inside ever since I heard about it.
No but seriously my obsession with it is getting out of hand, and I can understand why people would be annoyed. But I can't stop thinking about it! I have no problem with industry members and insiders having secret info. It's their job, but when a good old normal Batman fan has info that we don't, I have to know it! Subaru knows something we don't about Catwoman, and I can't stop thinking about it.
I think about it at work too!
It's all I've been thinking about this week. I hope they give us some hints or give us the info "soon".
290 is the scene number. It's most likely a master shot. Start with a master wide go into close ups at 290a, 290b, 290c, etc.
Every time you change location in the script, you change scene numbers.
how about u think about the guy who could lose his job if that info leaked? let it go man, we can always have it all. I'd rather a source is safe then know some bat info.
CLTC is such a great site! Hopefully I can start my build sometime in the next year.

Do they ever use multiple cameras for a single take? Or do they only film one camera angle per take?
that's what I was thinking too. If they have a two or three camera setup it might explain a few things...Do they ever use multiple cameras for a single take? Or do they only film one camera angle per take?

The problem with multiple cameras per take is that it would make the DPs job a living hell trying to light a scene for two angles and also trying to keep the other camera out of frame. In a moving shot, that could be tricky.

It's being explained to us now in chat...seems like Nolan may number his "scenes" by "shot" instead. How it's numbered on the shot list.that's very true.
Nolan's Enigma Numbering system

So "scene 290" is really "shot 290" on the shot list. Explains why the bank robbery in TDK could be "16W." Shot 16 on the shot list.
Now the question is...how many shots are there in a Nolan Batman movie?
