Interesting twist, just speculation now, but the Batpod might be the one shooting the hole in the street, or else the Batpod will be shooting something else in this next scene they film.

Well this is unexpected...there are 6 camo tumblers. They have a duplicate of each! (and they're all full size, so nobody start talking about mini-tumblers again, lol).

Not fully unexpected, by the end of the filming for the lamborghini (sp?) crash in TDK, Nolan had no less than 8 cars who all looked as if their fronts had been smashed to bits, all parked in the church parking lot across from my apartment building. It was as if he would crash one and say "OK, BRING ON THE NEXT TOY!"

Wow, saw the tumbler that got blown up. They really are as tough as they make them look in the movies! It was flipped and fell in a hole and the only damage it took was a few small plates got blown off that cover the suspension. That's it. These things really are tough as nails. I'm really impressed. Wow.

come one. look at what Bane is doing. Batman meant that he wouldnt kill a normal criminal who is stealing on the streets. he didnt mean that if a guy like Bane would destroy the whole city with tumblers and a truck bomb.

can we agree that if Batman would have to kill Bane to stop him that it would be ok? its obvious that there is no other way to stop all the henchman and Bane.

This is all some very cool stuff! I'm very excited that my hometown is playing host to all this mayhem!

On another note, my dad told me (he works in the Federal Building) he had been told that they will be filming until about 5 am tomorrow morning. I realize they had been going by the 7-7 schedule, but could this have been some sort of change, or something like a diversion? Or was he just given bum info? It really would be nice to have some night scenes of pgh in the movie.

At first I was thinking I don't want to watch anymore of the Tumbler videos...but then I realized if it's like trailer for TDK, they totally spoiled the semi flip in it! So really what's the point? We'll probably see great footage of this in December anyway!

I think Gary Oldman's stand in is poking his top half out of the hatch on the bomb truck. Truck is parked next to a parking garage. Smallish green screen mounted on the side of the parking garage, facing the trucks passenger side.

Correction: the one I saw was not the wrecked one. Wrecked one has caved in front end. Got a very brief video of it before they told me to stop filming. Still looks like it might be driveable. They put a blue tarp over it and are trucking it out of here poor tumbler. Hope they don't destroy it!

If you are standing on a public street, and they are filming on public streets, can they legally tell you to stop filming?
