I mean they want to market the two films together. Use TDKR to push MoS. Connect it with the Nolan involvement and really push MoS that way.

When MoS went to 2013; the idea became to use that year between TDKR1 to promote both films (TDKR2 wouldn't need it as the first one would do the work) and destroy the summer with the two films.

I think they pushed MOS to 2013 because that would be Superman's 75th anniversary. They probably want to get it right, too. So they Star Trek'd it.

And how would TDKR push MOS, exactly? Nolan's Batman has nothing to do with Superman.

I cant believe we are talking about the bs rumors of splitting the movie in 2 parts but why has anyone not talked about Aaron Eckhart being spotted in Pittsburgh! They showed him at the Steelers vs Eagles game tonight!!

My best guess is Batman dies and has a reunion with all of the characters who passed away via the ending of Titanic...

Full circle indeed... :hehe:

I remember hearing rumors that Nolan was trying to cut the script because it was really long..

Just got some insight from someone that's in the business, they said:
"Just to let you know, I'm in the business and how it works is to not confuse the TAKE number and the SCENE number they will usually start the SCENE number at 101 which is actually scene 1.

So SCENE 180 is actually scene 80. SCENE 290 is in fact scene 190.

In a typical 90 min film you can have 100-130+ scenes. Realize a scene can simply be a 3 second shot down the street. When you are within a scene and simply change camera angles you add a letter to the scene. IE: Scene 175E would be the 6th angle. (first angle doesnt get a letter)

Absolutely a 2.5 hour film can have 190 scenes. If i had to completely guess I would say 190 would be 15 mins or so till the end."

So there you have it. I'm not sold yet on 2 movies.

Ah that makes sense as well. It's looking more like this will be towards the end though. Damn... I was hoping it happens at around the 2nd act.

He's been very quiet as of late. It would nice to hear back from him, considering everything that's been going on.

Same here. We haven't heard from him since the trailer debut.

Except they're both WB movies with some kind of Nolan involvement.

I think nolan is just trying to get inside all of your heads and make up random or coded scene numbers to keep everyone from finding out whats really happening. this is one movie.

did you all not read what subaru said this should be case closed!!

... and then they all end up stranded on the LOST island.

Even if it IS Scene 190

we don't know where in the movie these scenes take place, It could be the middle of the film.

I think it is near the end now as well. Which gives me hope that Catwoman will have the cat cowl. She has it for most of the film, and than gets arrested(as we've heard from different reports: The police raiding Wayne Manor and that guy who's dad is a cop playing a cop transferring Catwoman in a cop car), and after being arrested she ditches the cowl or doesn't bother putting it on, and the stuff with her on the Batpod takes place during the last third of the film.

So for everything before she gets arrested, she has the cat cowl, once she gets arrested she loses the cowl or something like that. So when we see her on the Batpod, she's already an established Catwoman and we've already seen her with the cowl for most of the film.

Or be the first scene of the film.

Nolan won't make the actual order of the film so easily accessible, even though it says 290 it could take place anywhere in the film.

LOL, "From the studio that brought you The Departed".

Fine, the Nolan producer connection. I could see that in the ads. But I still don't think this TDKR part 2 thing is happening. It sounds crazy. I'll eat my words if WB comes out and annouces it, though.

haha, we just fund prof Nolan shot 280 in TDKR at some point Charlie the red should be posting it now...

This film is not being split.

I doubt this would happen, and will be super annoyed with WB if it does.
