Split into two parts? Kinda tacky. It is not needed, and just how much story would they need to cover that they need two f____ing films to do it? TDK was already pushing 2.5 hours and worked like aces. Granted, it worked for HP, but that already had an actual "strict" storyline they wanted to put onscreen. Surely Nolan hasn't written some king of Bat-Bible?

meh HP7.1 kinda dragged. it wasn't that necessary from a purely story perspective. it was done with the books and the films to maximize profit.

this move could potentially double their money. I'm not totally buying it but I could see lots of reasons to do it. millions. hundreds of millions :)

Awesome! As kv mentioned in another thread, she'll probably just talk about how she got in shape. They never ask about the ears! :oldrazz:

she barely got to mention it. they talked about playing scrabble.

but I have to say Jon nailed that first segment. One of his best in a while.

LOL, oh Hathaway. She protected the nerds with a Catwoman reference.

Who's playing Scrabble? Anne?

Ah. Thanks! So I take it there's nothing much with the interview?

Hi, I was the person who mentioned to suburu about the slate numbering system.
I just wanted to quickly give a bit more information that I failed to mention to suburu the first time.

What I told him is indeed a typical US system of slating. Starting with 101 rather than 1 so there is no confusion between Scene and Take numbers.

There is of course other systems in use. The European system of doing things, instead of using a letter after the scene number for each camera angle within the scene they will simply go to the next number for the scene.
So instead of Scene 110A they would call it 111. Doing it this way will create very high numbers in the Scene name. This also makes the actual scene numbers mean nothing in relation to the actual scene being shot.

I wanted to clear that up. One thing I can tell you shooting scene 290 is still going to be 1 film.

I don't disagree that some parts of the camping did drag but that could've been an easy fix. However, the pacing would really be off had they had made like one 3 hour movie.

Sorry for asking again Subaru and Rangork, but I don't remember if you responded, but will you be revealing the Catwoman info AFTER they are done filming in Pittsburgh and have shipped off?

And here's the featurette it was taken from:

Almost looks like Joker's opening scene on the corner. :oldrazz:

Damn you Nolan!! :argh:

edit: okay now I read the post by the new guy.

The film being split discussion is nearing Blurple discussion status.
