First Desolation Of Smaug Trailer classified 12A and has a runtime of 2:01. Looks like it is being released with Man Of Steel. Just another reason to see that movie haha. THough I suppose we may see it online prior to Man Of Steel's release anyway.

I don't know what to believe anymore. We've gotten more exposure towards a made-up female elf warrior than we have of Beorn. They're priorities are clearly all ****ed up.

Well, to be fair, marketing exposure isn't necessarily an indicator of screen presence. They marketed the heck out of Legolas for the LOTR films to draw in the teenage female crowd.

I thought the first film had the balance just about right, with two exceptions - the Radagast warg chase was too silly, and the White Council scene was too serious / fanfic.

This site is reporting the US trailer is a full theatrical trailer and has a run time of 2 minutes and 30 seconds .

The first trailer from The Desolation Of Smaug, will be be attached to all of Man Of Steel prints. And it’s not a teaser trailer, but it’s a full 2 min 30 sec theatrical trailer. The trailer is set to debut online on June 12, 10 am PDT. So check back here to have a look at it.

I won't get too hyped over this. Always nice to see something new, but I loved the first set of trailers, and well I saw how that turned out.

This film will have Beorn and Smaug though. How can it go wrong?

Smaug we won't get frontal but maybe another pan of his eye or an ass shot.

And with The Hobbit being unnaturally extended like this I think we need some cool non canon stuff. Not too interested in them being love story sub plots though.
