The big guy with the scales and pointy ears? No, that's gotta be the Abomination. And I'm leaning more towards Perun than Vanguard, being that the latter is a mutant in 616, along w/Darkstar, Ursa, etc.

But I've no idea who the chick w/the horns, the girl speedster or the guy w/the diamond on his chest are.

I totally agree. you can't have an event of such magnitude while making references to other teams w/ thier own comics without having it spill over into those comics.

I would also agree that it was somewhat disapointing. Did they have to make the ' enemy' an exact carbon copy of the Ultimates? you have vangard for thor, crimson dynamo for iron man, red gardian for cap( and noo, it is not the same as the one in ultimate nightmare. the guy from ultimate nightmare was down in that facility for god knows how long, and via the vision tech implanted in him, had an organic sheild growing out of his own arm..... not to mention a horrible dental problem ). Some of those characters , the ones i've mentioned already i have no problem with, but they are goin to have to explain some of the other characters. like that abomination like character. goin to need some explanation there. as well as those hundreds of flying fellows. Plus i don't see how they could have sneaked in all those zeplins without anyone noticing... that is definetly goin to need explanation.

The series has been phenominal up intill this point, but with this last issue, i see some major holes opened up suddenly.

Why wouldn't it be? In 616, Abomination is Emil Blonksy, a former KGB spy, aka Russian. Is it so improbable to have Ultimate Abomination be Russia's answer to the Hulk in case the Ultimates still have him hanging around?

Hawkeye breaks free. They alluded to this when they said if "there was a anything [safety pin] around I'd be dead." Hawkeye most likely keeps small objects hidden in case of such an emergency

Iron Man will subdue Widow without killing her either using his bio armor or the convienently placed empty champagne bottle next to him.

Quicksilver may have lived. he survived Thor [Perun] before.

Wanda may have lived as well but as most likely unconscious

Nick Fury going to go down I assume

Giant Man gonna return in a big way...with his robots.

Captain America is gonna stop being the yes man prick and free Thor...maybe he can get him to snap out of it and get his lightning back

Doubtful he is working with them...I think they have been using him. They may have stolen that robot ultron (sputnik whatever). But Pym and Thor are gonna be heroes at the end of this, be sure of it. The writer is obviously very sympathetic to Pym, Cap and Thor...all of whom were more or less pawns in this grand scheme of Loki. Remember Loki been playing this like a game of chess. I doubt he would ever let Pym fully in on whole thing. Pym probably functioned more like Scarecrow did in BB. Someone who furthers their goals without being aware of the implications. And also that is in Pym's character. He gets used, all the time. Shield used his particles, and now Hydra is using his secrets. Pym does not want to be a bad guy, he just ends up a victim of circumstance.

That's only because Marvel, let Hitch finish at least (6) issues before relaunching Ultimates2, and the guy still is behind! Yeah he is ultra detailed with his art but come-on they basically gave this guy a friggin Year! to finish his work! Marvel is not known for there generosity with allowing artists to be ahead of schedule. So I see it as either he had personal Issues to deal with or B.Hitch has no discipline, could be both.
