Dude. Think about it. America has invaded two countries in the past five years, destroyd their governments, and turned them into our own versions of them. Yes, they had ******* leaders.

Remember 911??? Do you??? That's why we invaded Afgahnistan!! Good grief!! Iraq's invasion was for the WMD. Did they find it? No. Does that mean they never had it? NO! Did every government on the planet believe they had them?? YES!!
Do you like living the way you live?? Do like being able to worship your own way? Drive up to your nice home or apartment? Just have a friggin cook-out if you want??? Things we take for granted. It is arrogance to think that those people over there don't want the same things that you do!! Liberty and freedom!! How would you like to throw into a wood shredder if you lost a soccer game? That happened in Iraq! We've uncovered 3 mass graves!! How would you like your daughter or wife picked out of a crowd while at a soccer game for Saddam's sons to rape?? News Flash!! FREEDOM IS NOT FREE! tHE TALIBAN WOULD BEAT DOWN HELPLESS WOMEN! Those women can vote and go to school now in Afghanistan!! Iraq's economy is growing! Sewers and clean water are being put in places that Saddam let rot!! Marsh lands that Saddam destroyed have been restored so that those people can live there again.

But who are we to just barge into other countries and tell them what's best? Also, we've pretty much made ourselves in charge of the U.N., and when they do tell us not to do something we tell them to piss of and we do it anyway.

As for "they're the ones who blow up their own kids", the U.S. has sent 18 year old kids in the middle east to die for oil.

Those were men and women who "volunteered" to serve! Not brain washed 9-year-olds schooled by mad Islamo whack jobs.

Gas prices are still sky high! What friggin' oil????
If you think we don't need oil, don't drive that car...don't ride that bus..

Now, I'm not trying to be a "liberal leftist", as you put it (I tend to consider myself a centrist), but there is some serious bull**** going on with our government right now. It really wouldn't surprise me if other countries saw America as the new roman empire.

If you truly knew your history you'd never equate this country with Roman. See anybody thrown into any colesiums lately?? America has liberated the friggin' world on too many occasions just so people like you can have short memories and enjoy the freedoms that our military provides.

And the "they're the ones who blow up their own kids" comment wasn't cool. Try to be a little more sensative.

When they stop...I'll stop.

You know what's worse than that? Crybaby's whining about people whining.

Hey, if getting your panties in a bunch over a quality book being a month late and then lamenting about it ad nauseum on a message board is how you get your jollies then more power to you.

You and your ilk deserve whatever lame-ass angst you create for yourselves.

Hey Doc, I personally know Bryan and he is very conscientious about his work. He puts way more effort and consideration into each panel than you do in that sh'tty band of yours. Marvel is lucky to have him aboard.

Yes, I remember 9/11. But you know what? That was done by Al Quida. Not the Afganisani government. We went into Afganistan to find Al Quida, and you know what? We didn't find them. So, we took over their government. As for the WMDs, first of all, we don't know that they had them. And every country on Earth isn't sure that they had them. Hell, they probably didn't have them. Second, we have more WMDs than anyone else on the planet. Who the hell are we to tell people they can't have any when we have enough to destroy the entire world five times over?

I know that Afganistan and Iraq had ******* leaders. But who the **** are we to just march into a country and tell them how we want them to be run? That, my friend, is a very slipery slope. One that if we fall down, we could end up juist as bad as Saddam.

1) Yes, the soldiers did volunteer. They volunteered to protect our country. Not invade another country so we can have oil.

2) Gass prices are sky high because of the goddamn oil companies. We have more than enough oil, but they keep the bloody prices up. Those guys are making more money than ever before.

3) I know we need oil, but if you think that justifies invading another country, you have problems.

America has been policing the world. We've all but taken control of the U.N., we're the most powerful super power in the world, and we go around telling other countries how to function. It's not our right or anyone else's to do that. It doesn't surprise me that other countries would call the U/S. the new Roman empire.

THEY haven't done anything. You can't blame the acts of a few extremests on an entire country. A few nut jobs have done that to kids, yes. But some nut jobs in the U.S. have done just as bad or worse to kids.

The taliban was in with Al Quida!! Do you have selective memory??? They controlled Afghanistan!! Those turds terrorized their own people!! Including peaceful Buddhists!! They blew up their worship places! But guess what??? That ain't happening now!! Know why??? The U.S. troops!! Those people are free now!! Why can't you be happy for them!!

Again! That same ol' tired argument! That has yet to be proven. but that's all you've got! They went in for WMD and violation of 14 U.N. resolutions!

2) Gass prices are sky high because of the goddamn oil companies. We have more than enough oil, but they keep the bloody prices up. Those guys are making more money than ever before.

Since when??? That's why we keep talking about been oil independent! That's why we want to drill in Alaska! We need that oil so that those Arab countries can't squeeze our necks! Plus if we wanted those oils wells we could have already taken them. And we haven't!

3) I know we need oil, but if you think that justifies invading another country, you have problems.

We don't tell countries how to function. We tell them to treat their people right in what ever way they function!! That's a difference! You cannot rape and pillage your own people. You cannot invade other countries to rape and pillage. Justice will be served on evil men who do things that way. War is necessary in an evil world. You don't know how much those people are willing to endure because you don't know what they lived thru under the Taliban or Saddam!! The news is not feeding us the good stuff. I long to see an ABC News flash when a school is put up or clean drinking water is piped in.

More than a few!!! And now women are being used!! Why don't those leaders committ suicide??? Cowards....using women and children.
Not all of those peole are whacked out!! But it's more than a few!

Actually, I could give a crap. It says more about the quality of the EDITORS than it does about the artist, so relax.

The people in charge should be cracking the whip.

Oh, on topic now.

I loved the issue. Yes, I saw the undertone of the politics part, but I just smirked and moved on. These are the kinds of books I adore. They have drama, action and carry the reader along in an intense wave like a roller coaster. Just proof positive that you can carry a book with drama AND have nice big fight scenes all in the same issue.

2) I know that things are better there. But we still have no right to just barge into another country and change things. We don't get to police the world. Doing that kind of **** leads to corruption very easily.

But we can't invade other countries and tell them how we want them run. We don't have that right. No one does. Because it isn't right. It's us fleixing our muscles to get other people to do things the way we want them to. There's supposed to be a system. We're supposed to have a peacefull cooilition of nations to help make the world a better place. But there isn't. There's just one country bossing people around and quickly shaping up to be the unofficial rulers of the world.

And it's more than a few Americans who molest their children, or beat them, or sell them out for sex or kiddie porn. Middle Eastern countries aren't the only places where children are abused.

Yes we can! Yes we should!! We are our brother's keeper. With great power comes great responsibility. The U.S. has used it's power for the good of this planet. Whether it's a Tsunami or and Iranian earthquake! And if a country is a threat to others or it's people we are their. They love freedom just like you.
