That happened about 40 years after he died. The church has commited horrible acts, and even today has it's own extremests like Pat Robertson. Yes, he doesn't commit suicide bombings, but he does want to take away people's rights and set the country back over 100 years. Also, you say that the KKK aren't truely Christians.
