Burn Gorman is usually cringe worthy.

RedHawk says the characters are fine and Jacobed says they aren't. I wonder who I'll agree with? Either way, thanks for the reviews you two.![]()
Expect Fast n Furious characters and dialogue and you'll be fine I think.I wasn't expecting much more than comic book characters. IF there is a sequel perhaps a more seasoned screenwriter would be best.
Burn's character = [BLACKOUT]*engage accent* "DONT YOU UNDERSTAND THE MATH, WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE YOU NITWITSSSSS!"[/BLACKOUT]![]()
Somehow the last two FF movies just work in spades for me and I'm happy about that. Can't wait to see the monster vs. robot battles in Rim.Expect Fast n Furious characters and dialogue and you'll be fine I think.I wasn't expecting much more than comic book characters. I'd like to know as well. Coming Soon is predicting 34mil BTW.How is the film tracking now?
Yep, that would be a disaster. I've raised my 38mil prediction to 44mil. Maybe it will do more than that or less but that's my prediction for now. I'd be shocked if it did 60mil at this point but anything is possible. That'd be terrible for this movie.
If they don't actively detract from the movie its fine. But it would still be nice to have likeable and interesting human characters along for the ride.
How does that negate my comment? Or maybe you weren't trying to and I just don't get what you are saying.STID had the first movie behind it, this movie is trying to stand up by itself.

I'm not a crazed fangirl, I have a nuanced view of things. I didn't call it a bomb, I called it a disappointment because it came under even realistic expectations. It had 4 years of inflation and 3D ticket prices and couldn't do better than the original domestically. To the last bit about a box office disappointment. STID was theoretically suppose to do more domestically because of the first movie. This movie pulling in around the same numbers should be somewhat of a win.
