For sure, I just like the "what if". Did you see the Picard doing a one-handed push-up in a Seahawks jersey yesterday? It's avatar worthy for ya' lol!
Haha I did see that. Good ol' Patrick Stewart! If I ever lose faith in the X-Men films, I will always appreciate him as Professor X. Such a perfect casting choice right there.

How do you know it's not Aunt Carnage making sure he picked up the eggs on the way home? You don't. :o
You're right JOE. In fact, Its definitely Aunt Carnage. She's mad because Peter didn't buy organic.

The longest arm award.

once paul giamatti was cast, this design went out the door.

the only way to have a humanoid shape would be to make rhino small; approximately the size of giamatti himself, and no one would be happy with that.

paul was cast ages ago, so complaining about it now is silly.
But he doesn't have to be 15-20 feet tall.
Funny how everybody had a problem with Lees Hulk being that tall but not with the Rhino.

If you think about it, we have that one shot in the trailer, and the poster with him on fours. He's only been teased so far. We have yet to see all of him.

But personally, I like what we're able to see so far.
Im just hoping they start out with that and then get more sophisticated kind of like Iron man and reduce him down at least to 9ft or even 10 but if you measure that out he looks to be 15-20.

The issue wasn't that Hulk was too big, but his size was very inconsistent. And wasn't he even BIGGER than 20 ft?

i don't get it Hmarrs, do you want a humanoid rhino like in your previous posts, or do simply want a smaller mech?

giamatti is far from 9 foot. if we got a 616 rhino with giamatti as the man inside the suit, he would be 6 foot tall including the horn and no one would like that.

wanting a smaller mech is fair enough though.

yeah I don't think Paul Giamatti would work in a classic 616 Rhino look especially if he would looks something like this:

yeah that wouldn't work a lot for me.

:funny:

yeah, me neither. plus, he would be significantly smaller than that.

I see.
I would like them to do that for the Lizard. I wasn't completely sold on his design.

Well, there are ways they could have pulled it off, even with short Giamatti. Nowadays there are barely any restrictions anymore. But I am happy with Mecha Rhino.

I'm fine with design that they went with. It's much easier to swallow for general audiences than a man in a literal rhino suit IMO.

I think the original Rhino design would look terrible in live action form. I was surprised by the specific design they went for with the Rhino suit, but I don't have a problem with it being mechanical.

I think that the design will probably change in TASM3, perhaps getting an "upgrade."

I hope so. Maybe nudge it more toward the look of Ultimate Rhino next time around.
This Rhino suit feels like a prototype. Though I do really like it (from what we've seen so far).

It took a while to grow on me, but I'm starting to like it.

agreed. The Rhino armor looks pretty good and I hope they can upgrade the armor without it resorting him to become a cross species hybrid like most of the superheroes and villains in the movie or Rhino in the Amazing Spider-Man video game or the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. I wold be awesome if we see more details like spikes on his armor like the Ultimate comics.

Nah, I doubt Rhino will ever be cross-species on film, especially with an actor like Paul Giamatti. They might give the mech suit a closer look to what we see in USM.

yeah it's would be great to see a combo of the Ultimate R.H.I.N.O. and the Sequel movie armor.

I've seen a lot of complaints toward the Rhino's design but I'm perfectly fine with it. I think it's a better rendition than trying to translate his actual comic book design into live action. I think it could work (with some tweaking of course). But in this case the design they chose was a safer route to go.
