Spidey will have plenty of chances to use his brain, his unique abilities and the environment to take down his foes. Webb spoke of Spider-man being a virtuoso with his powers and I expect them to showcase that fully.

He's also said that we'll see him perform acts we haven't seen before. It kinda sounds like ones that'll make us fans clap you know? I think the chase scene is gonna have a lot of that. I can't wait to see what William Spencer did for real, and what's CG.

One thing I always wanted to see, or see more of is Spidey having to use wits and webs/abilities to "finish an act" if you will. The SM2 train thing with using his webs to stop it is kind of what I'm talking about. I like that stuff. It's something that only Spider-Man can do. Makes him unique.

I think he means the bolded. Things we haven't seen in his first movie, or Raimi's movies. The creativity in Spider-Man/Peter. Spider-Man I imagine will be in such a zone, he doesn't have to think about his next move. Sort of haha.

Yeah I can't wait to see all that stuff you listed in the chase scene.

Marc has such a better and stern understanding of Spider-Man now, so I would imagine he'd put that type of stuff in for us fans.

I'm assuming Orci and Kurtzman deserve a lot of credit for these comic book nods. They did the same with with Star Trek Into Darkness (so many things in that movie were nods to TOS… )

Yup, they are! I know Orci said he only cares about three superheroes: Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, and Superman, so he must know his stuff. So goes for Kurtzman.

Its confirmed....rhino is only on for 4 mins in TAS2.....

He also revealed that Paul Giamatti is only "in the movie for 4 minutes" as Rhino, a role he won after he appeared on Conan and revealed that he had always wanted to play the villain. The filmmaker also spoke about how he embraced the scope of this massive sequel.
