I like how people care about Rhino.... Because he's TOTALLY something worth fighting for.

So Rhino is
in action for 4 minutes and in the last scene!?,does the movie end in the middle of the fight or right after or what?

I THINK when Spidey slams the rockets away with the manhole cover, that's the last shot.

Any Spiderman villain is worth fighting for. Are you really going to attempt a dichotomy between Rhino fans and non Rhino fans? lol

I mean there are in fact some really lame villains out there (e.g. the grizzly), but I don't think I've ever met a Spider-Man fan that doesn't like Rhino. He's not on the same level as Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Mysterio, Venom, etc., but there is just something so fun and playful about him.

Don't you just want to give this guy a hug?!

Rhino is Cool! I'm glad he is in this movie! by the way will there be a Rhino action figure for this movie? might have to get one!

Sadly there haven't been any Rhino action figures yet.

It's funny my friends who weren't sold on Webb's design for Rhino when I posted the top pic on this page of Rhino standing up the other day, they all cheered it on, and can't wait to see the big fight.

I think people will do the same with Harry.

Just give it time.

If the characters are good and the fight scenes are fun, you won't care as much as the design. This is the problem with the internet these days. We can freeze frame and analyze every second of the trailer. When we take a long look at what these characters look like, we start noticing all the flaws and whatnot. I think in motion, the Goblin is going to be really bad***. He just comes off as a bit awkward in a still frame image.

Exactly.

Yeah, the Rhino is awesome- never did I think we'd ever see him on film. I couldn't imagine it happening, but he looks stupendous! What I love about Rhino: at his core he's an angry guy in a Rhino suit that runs into stuff with his head. Hard to get better than that. But there is a lot of nuance to the character that is fun when it's explored.

My favorite Rhino story, I recommend it all the time, Flowers For Rhino in Tangled Web #5&6. You'll feel sorry for the big dude and want to root for him the whole time.

True enough. I think Giamatti and the character will be brimming with personality, and as Jules says in Pulp Fiction, that goes a long way.

I remember being pissed at Spider-man TAS as a kid because Rhino was barely in the show. I'm glad he's finally made it to the big screen. :)

I like the 'horn' on Rhino. I look there and keep having to remind myself Giamatti is sitting in the middle section.

Where's my hug? :argh:

I actually think it's designed that way as a design cue of the comic design. Head is placed under the horn.

where's my Hug too?!! I demand a hug Doctor Who lol.

I love the Flowers for Rhino and Gauntlet story and the Sensational Spider-Man Civil War story featuring him and Black Cat and my favorite two animated version of Rhino is Spectacular Spider-Man and the sixties animated series. Wasn't there a Stan Lee newspaper arc that had Rhino sue the makers of a Spider-Man movie for having him appear forcing them to cancel filming That's a problem. I know he's a minor villain but there need to be more Rhino stories.
