So how big of a part do you think Paul Giamatti would have if he does appear in the sequel as Rhino.

Probably not a huge role, but I think he will step up from being a glorified cameo to a supporting character.

Hard to say. Maybe he'll be 'upgraded' in some way. That seems to be the theme of his TASM2 role. He starts off roaring through the streets in a truck, only to return later wearing an armoured suit.

That's true. He might be like Scarecrow in the Nolan trilogy or Shocker in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics (or to bring it a little closer to home) Sandman and Rhino in the SSM cartoon. I think they might streamline the armor, make some improvements to it. As long as they don't make him a cross species mutation like the Amazing Spider-Man video game or some of the other supervillains in the Webb movie series, then I'm okay with it.

That's a really good point though(not to mention Spidey taking off Aleksei's pants revealing his Rhino boxers), I really like how his progression to becoming Rhino is handled so far despite what little screentime he has in the movie itself(again partly likening it to SSM with Alex O'Hirn's growth to becoming Rhino despite having more episodes/screentime showing Alex's growth as a supervillain)

I can't wait to see him in this movie. I REALLY hope he gets a bigger part (even if it's just slightly bigger) in TASM3. Paul has so much obvious passion for the character.
