The Flash Robbie Amell cast as Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm

While this is good news, I do think they should spend as much time establishing the Flash as a superhero and character first before they bombard the show with other heroes.

Look at Smallville, the show didn't introduce another hero until season 4. I'm not saying they should copy the show o' course but just that the show was a success because they so solidly established Clark so the audience could latch onto him first before bringing in the other big players in DC.

Though the scenario is different. We won't be doing a preFlash show. They had to latch onto Clark because well that's all you had.

Yet another firestorm character joins TV, firestorm is on fire!. Always knew the Firestorm mythos would work well on TV.

So thats Firestorm?! Cool, over here in Sweden the character was called "Facklan" in Swedish, which translates back to english to "The Torch" i guess.

I was wondering which character you guys were talking about and was just about to google him. Now that i see this pic i instantly recognize him. Cool, so he's gonna be on The Flash show? Awesome, another reason to check the show out.

Cool cool, yeah, i remember that he had like a talking head inside his head. It was pretty trippy, since i hadnt read his origin, Firestorm just kinda showed one day in comics(or i missed his origin story, i dont think so though.)

His origin is pretty easy similar too hulk two dudes got caught on nuclear explosion ..

Given that Killer Frost is a Firestorm villain, I kinda expected him to show up eventually. I did not think he would appear this soon, however.

He was suppost too be in the greatest story never told ..


i think i’ve mentioned this before, we definitely WERE planning on using him in JLU, but it just never worked out….”the greatest story never told” started as a firestorm story, but as we were breaking the story it became more and more comedic, and we soon realised it would work better with booster gold in the lead….
and actually, we had started with a quite different story altogether that we ended up killing at the outline stage…it was going to be firestorm’s origin, with a jl vs. clayface “a-plot” mixed in, but it just wasn’t working, so we threw it out and started over from scratch….after several more false starts we wound up with the “greatest story” plot, and then had to replace firestorm to make it work….

He's improved since being in The Tomorrow People. I wasn't a huge fan of his acting but his cameo was a good intro for future appearances to come. I liked the flashback with Danielle, Wells and Cisco. It gave us a little insight into what really happened and who was really responsible for Ronnie being locked out.

Sucks that The Tomorrow People got cancelled it was a good show but glad to see Robbie joining The Flash.

A really underrated DC character.
