The Dark Knight Should Batman be able to fly in the sequel

not difficult. Just incorporate the jetpack technology of 'The Batman' episode 'firefly' into the boots. done. There is jet pack, available, can miniaturise it. no problem.

No reason he *couldn't* do it but many reasons why he *shouldn't*. There is no precedence in the comics for him flying, except maybe on the absolute rare occasion, plenty incidences of him using his cape as a glider. Besides, he doesn't really need to fly, and there are too many so-called superheroes who can fly, it's become a cliche.

In short.
No.
Batman needs jet-boots the way Spider-Man needs a motor-powered speedboat with button-launched missiles - only for the action figures!

What's next? Will you want him to pick up god damn boats?

I believe Batman DID have a boat - but that was in "Batman: Forever", so make of that what you will.

By the way, your avatar and custom title: :up::up:
On the other hand, GrammarBatGirl thinks your signature is: :down:down:down.
:batman: GrammarBatGirl translation: "Losers always try to 'do their best'..."

Thanks, but I meant lift not own.

Ah, okay. Batman should definitely do none of those things. They wouldn't be half as funny as when he jumped off a building and hit that fire escape. :D

Except that he never used it, only Robin did.

He had a boat in "Batman Returns" as well, and the Adam West Batman had a boat. Also, in the comics, in the old days, Batman's jet could turn into a submarine. And the Batwing did that in "Forever."

:(

Of course. Take Hush for instance when he's with Talia, after braking into a plane where she had been in. Though in Forever he didn't use it often, which I was telling June.

That was a Stealth Batwing

What are you referring too, the Batwing he used in Hush, or in Forever? In Forever he used the Batwing, while Robin drove the Batboat.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I'd want him to go too far with the technology, you don't want another Batman & Robin on your hands.

No Jet boots.

But will we see Batplane/Batwing in Nolan series? I think it depends on the villain he's facing. Joker and other individual villains - No. Superman level villain or multiple Batman villains - Yes.

Nolan would never include a Batplane in the universe he's created, would be beyond ridiculous. What good would it do anyway in a city?

As for the boots, that just pushes things way too far, would just take you out from the current mood of impossible but still believable and necessary to laughable. I like the gliding, it kind of annoyed me about 89 that if Batman fell off one of the frequent tall buildings he was on he'd be as dead as anyone else.

Aww but he's batman. He has skills

He can get anything he wants from fox too. Fox is the man who gets you things.

at least give the batman his batwing. Who has a tank and not a bat-helicopter or something like that? Bat blimp maybe?

Give me the bat-cycle at the very least.

without his awesome gadgets and vehicles, his missions would be too difficult to accomplish. Plus he's rich. He can afford some outrageosly cool stuff to aid his efforts to end corruption and injustice, and such.

Come on batsy, don't let Tony Stark have all the best toys.

hmmm, that bale sure would have made a fine iron man...

Any taker for Bat-Walker? Construction Robot that Batman uses to punch into reinforced Walls?

Uh, come on guys. There got to be gadgets that Batman. Without gadgets, the B in Batman would become Boring instead of Badass.

How about a Bat-Cannon? Could blast him from Wayne Manor into Gotham :p

I hope Nolan will not put Batplane or Batcycly in sequels.
Well, I wouldn't mind it, just so long as he didn't put "Bat" in front of the names of everything he owns.

"Gee BatButler, I'm just going to brush my BatTeeth my with BatToothbrush and go to BatBed. Then I'm going to my BatCave to look up villains on my BatComputer and go riding in my BatPlane." Sheesh.

Even the "Batmobile" in BB is not called Batmobile. So if there are other vehicle they won't be prefixed with "Bat".
