Defenitley keep Sam!!!! He's an amazing director who has directed three amazing Spidey Films and I think that if they keep Sam to continue directing Spidey Films, then the Films will be excellent!:spidey:

As I already said in another thread, even if I liked Raimi's run during the first three movies, I find it could be refreshing to see somebody else take over the Spidey movies.

The only thing in my opinion they should keep is J.K Simmons as Jameson

Personally I don't give a f*** as long as Spiderman 4 outdoes its predecessors.

ok i do believe the harry potter movies were successful because they had different directors but the same cast so fire Raimi he had a good run and hire David Fincher

I'll be glad when they (Sony/Marvel) announce whether or not the cast/director is returning to SM4. This thing has Spider-Man geeks going crazy, and you know how sensitive they are.

I've said it elsewhere...I'll say it again...

I'll just say that if there is a new cast named (and we need to quit throwing the word reboot around here on practically every freakin thread)---Buster Crabbe, Johnny Weissmuller, and a few other ones after them...all of them were called Tarzan...there was no reboot...it was just a different guy. And, with that new guy, a slightly different sensibility and a slightly different sense of direction.

I'm sick of, never liked it,.... the weapy eyed, Peter's a loser, Toby's getting paid by the ugly faces he makes, (with his mask off all the time) Spider-Man that we've seen.

I want a new cast. I'd settle for a new everything.

Some people here just don't think rationally.

Does anyone seriously think they will reboot the series after every trilogy? That's ridiculous. They'll only do that if the BO numbers are low or the reaction is terrible.

One film that didn't meet expectations isn't a real reason to reboot the entire series and start from scratch.

I'm thinking rationally, I'm just not expressing it with a lot of practicality.

Bring Raimi back. Just one final film. Original cast and Sony execs BACKING THE **** OFF.

There s no need for a reboot there are a so many villains that we need to see. I think Raimi did a very good job but after a trilogy (the third movie was so so) it s the right time to switch for a new director. I am open to new idea new ways of doing spider man.

I agree completely, enough of this wimpy Spiderman, let's see what someone else can do for a change.

i think harry got to do more action in this film than spidey

In any case, even though Sam Raimi really loves Spiderman, the thing is, he has dedicated his life to make these movies ever since 2000-2001 and we all know how time consuming and difficult they are to make. Would he really want to spend 10 years doing only spider-man movies? I doubt it.
It is very possible that he will stay on as producer, but I really think we need a new director for a change, someone who can bring something different to it.

Sam wants to do it man what the hell are you smoking ???

He actually does want to direct it....or at least be involved in the film...

Sam was signed for 3` movies only. thats why i think he included the symbiote story in SM3, to make as much money as he can so that sony can sign another deal with him and the whole crew

Wasn't it actually Avi Arad that practically begged him to put Venom in the Movie?

wow, Omid, that just shows how much you know....:whatever:

thats his excuse man, hes only bringing in venom to make more money because it was his last film, so he knew in order to come back,SM3 had to make a few extra bucks, turened out almost making 900 mil ww
