good manip, but looks more like he has the anti-venom suit. Definitely needs more black.

I think that the black costume wouldn't actually look too much like the current regular costume, it will propably be an edgy version of the classic black costume

That would be neat to see. Speaking of costumes, would also be nice to see what the symbiote suit would look like in this series if they ever decide to do the symbiote storyline.

We paid attention to the question of ‘How would a kid make it?’ And obviously we took some license with it. We also wanted a design that would make the body longer and more lithe, more of an acrobat, someone incredibly agile, and the legs of the spider [symbol on the chest] were something we used to emphasize that. We made a bunch of different suits for different lighting conditions. I wanted something that worked in the night a little better. We paid attention to that and also made the webbing [on the costume] a little bit darker. With the costume and the web-shooters we wanted to emphasize that these are things that Peter Parker made and that he is special himself even if he feels like he’s an outsider.

Yeah, this was posted in the set pictures thread. I say "********." Other than the shoes, nothing looks handmade. It all looks very professional.

That too. It has never looked homemade in comics, or movie (this one included) But I am thankful they decided to make the suit in TAS look professional, even if they weren't going for that. Who knows how terrible the design might have looked that way...

So looking at the pictures in Empire magazine i can honestly say i've done 180 on the costume. Not that I didn't like it before, but when that first pic was released I was sat on the very edge of the fence, but now I actually really, really like the suit. For what they wanted the design definately achieves. (Making Grafield more long, lithe looking)

Also has anyone noticed that this isn't a one piece? It looks like it's clearly a two piece. If that's the case then that's great

That's all I ever wanted for a Spidey costume. It doesn't have to look like it's made out of a hoodie and oven mitts to feel home made, as long as the emphasis on Peter Parker creating his own identity is there, and a scene that justifies the costume.

Which is precisely why Webb's explanation is ridiculous. If he wanted it to look homemade he should have went to toysrus and bought this

Well, technically it would equal cheap. Peter is poor.

That said, I don't mind if his costume is unrealistically high-production (as in the Raimi films). I want a costume that appeals to my personal tastes, and the Webb version fails to do that.
