The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man Reboot Costume Part 4 - "What's that in his eye??" - Part 5

Any of yall read that series? It was from Spider-man: With Great Power, and it was TERRIBLE. Seriously, one of the worst comics I've ever read.
I actually really enjoyed it. It wasn't amazing, but I did enjoy it.

We're talking about the movie costume. At what point does that say, "Welp, better share my extraordinarily negative opinion about something!"?

It's one thing to ask if anyone's read it, it's another to ask if anyone has read then continue to bash the comic itself along with anyone that may have found it a good read, such as SMH12.

Haha fair enough, different strokes for different folks. Does it count as in continuity? Last I heard it wasn't cause it was in the Marvel knights line

....I'm sorry where did I bash anyone that enjoyed the series?
And once again: I won't ever share my opinion on anything ever again if it's 'extraordinarily negative'.

That could very well be considered an insult to anyone that enjoyed it. I for one get insulted when people call comics "gay" and "nerdy" or a movie I like "terrible" because it suggests that I have bad taste. It's not very hard to understand.

Nope, it's not in continuity. It was just a mini-series that spanned about 4 issues, if I remember correctly.

God dammit you guys. The mods are on our asses to stop arguing. Knock it off. It's just getting pathetic now.

Ah, well that's not so bad then. I only went through it once and I remember thoroughly disliking it, but if it's not in continuity then I've got nothing to really complain about haha.

...
There's a huge difference between calling something 'gay', 'nerdy', and 'terrible'. The first two are very offensive and personal, the last one is pretty general and used quite often.
Hey Spider-manhero12, did I insult you with my post about a comic you enjoyed?

I agree with this 100%. Pathetic is the word for it.

I wasn't trying to start anything. It seemed like you were trying to start something.

There's a big difference between calling something "TERRIBLE" and "one of the worst comics I've ever read" and simply saying, "Has anyone ever read it? What'd you all think? I didn't like it very much myself."

Do you see where I'm coming from?

I seriously wasn't trying to start a fight or anything, I just don't see the need to be so abrasive about something. Especially after everything that went down today.

Every thread today in the Spidey forum:

"I don't like this ****. This **** sucks."
"YEAH WELL **** YOU BUDDY"

If you felt like I was being confrontational, you don't address that by saying "okay?".
That comes off as sarcastic and abrasive, like you are inviting more confrontation. And no one else would have interpreted that as me starting something. I was stating my opinion, and as my encounter with Spidermanhero12 showed, I wasn't offending anyone with my statement.
As I said: case closed. If you have anything else to say, PM me and don't continue it in this thread because as the mods have stated, the arguments and petty debates need to stop.
Back to the topic....I find it interesting the comic they derived most of the inspiration for the suit was from a one-off, one-time out of continuity issue from several years ago that we haven't seen since. Do you think that shows extensive research on sony's part or otherwise?
