From what I'm seeing, people who go see Cats may walk into Rise of Skywalker and enjoy it more than they thought...because Cats is sucking so hard. Just...wow.

Before the new films were released I always used to think the final Star Wars Episode film would bring in unbelievable numbers crushing everything that came before.

You owe it to yourself to read the reviews. One review literally said, "Oh God. My eyes". It's on Rotten Tomatoes. I haven't seen that many 0/5 and .5/5 reviews given to a film in a long time...long time...

That is sad to here the movie is much better then TLJ.


TLJ did 45 millon in comparison so i hope this does closer to the 48 then the 44. Hopefully it does 50.

I liked it its just i like TFA and ROSW more. Also box office of TLJ showed people didnt really like it has its legs where not good. The movie could have made like 200-300 more WW with better legs.

See, I didn't get that feeling from this one. It felt like it moved at a legit clip. I was not exhausted at all. Just excited to see it again, in the morning.

Does any one known like how long it took for the Audience score on RT to go down for TLJ? Right now TROSW is at a much higher score but i dont known if that means much sense its still only opeing night meaning a lot of people have not seen it yet.

That's a solid opening night number. I'm going to watch general audience reactions for WOM and see if that sustains through the weekend. Right now I would say this is banking very close to a $200 million weekend. I've read much lower totals but I think those predictions are too soft. If audiences in general disagree with the critics this will pull more people in and this could punch it well past $200 million. Lets see how Friday goes. International numbers are down but domestically those could be recovered if TROS can keep the momentum. Its going to be an interesting weekend. Good snapshot for Star Wars fans.

Right now (Friday morning) there are about 6,700 verified ratings on RT and the audience score is at 86%.

Seems like the audiences for the most part don't agree with the critics on this one.

I saw TLJ 8 times at the cinema and I have to admit, around the 5th-6th viewing it was a bit exhausting. It's just the pacing of the film. I've seen TROS twice already and I can feel it will be more re-watchable in the long run.
