Supergirl Supergirl General Discussion Thread - - - Part 12

That moment at the seven second mark...I'd like to say that reminds me of something ripped straight out of the Alien films if I'd seen any of them, but that's what it makes me think about first. Very creepy.

Everytime I see that Super armor suit, I think Supergirl is going Power Rangers on us!!

After seeing it in a little action, I hope we don't see too much more of it.

Ditto. Though based on that other shot of her all green and falling, I'm gonna guess it's an anti-Kryptonite suit (basically an "upgrade" from those things she and Supes wore to fight Metallo), so it's probably a one-and-done...until they decide to bring it back out for another threat toward the end of the season or something.

Well that's not who she's fighting in this footage, unless you were referring to my comment about the end of the season, which...yeah, lol.

They could make that super armor suit a robot of its own.

What if they just shortened the CW seasons since most characters are cast there & the Multiverse is introduced. They switch out the Cross Overs for a once a year Big Budget Movie or multiple movies for different character focus & they can each time Travel to the Zack Snyder Earth & pick up Aquaman & Wonder Woman & there you go

Okay, Witwer's suit is creepy.
I didn't realize that was his suit! I thought it was another Tornado android or something.

As to her armor suit, could it be for anyone? I wonder if wearing it gives even a normal human super strength or something. Though the idea of it being autonomous is intriguing and opens up a rogue AI scenerio.

Also, where the suit is fighting the guy, is that the same guy from earlier in the trailer, with the distending, alien jaw?

SUpergirl gets her first official Funko and its a NYCC exclusive.

Based on how well he plays a character that you love to hate, this makes me happy.

'Walking Dead' Baddie Xander Berkeley Brings Daddy Issues to 'Supergirl' Season 4

We already know that the anti-alien sentiment heading to Supergirl this season will be led by Sam Witwer's Ben Lockwood, aka Agent Liberty. But who formed the mind of this humans-first hate-monger? Looks like the apple may not have fallen too far from bigo-tree (get it?).

TV Insider has learned exclusively that Xander Berkeley, who currently stars as Hilltop jerk Gregory on The Walking Dead, has been tapped to play Ben's father, Peter Lockwood.

Mechad Brooks seems to have a brother who is often a guest on Double Toasted as one of the main reviewing team/ discussion panel. I'm guessing it is him, because he talks about having a brother who works in TV in the same sentence as Supergirl, and Korey Coleman was also talking about people showing up at the Brooks's household. And plus he does look similar to Mechad, but perhaps less wooden.

So the S3 bloopers are out there, and Stephen Amell and Tom Cavanagh catching Melissa sleeping while filming the crossover is the absolute best. :funny:

That red fear Supergirl poster is now one of my favorites. It could refer to Parallax or Red Lantern, which they could have Supergirl or her double become.

If they wish to bring in a Green Lantern, bring in Jessica Cruz as she would fit in Supergirl's universe.

Now let's just hope that the coming season is as emotionally heavy as that image promises.

I'm shocked The Monitor is going to be involved in this crossover and I have no idea what to expect. If I had to guess then it looks like CW are doing their own version of Crisis on Infinite Earths.
