It is pretty amazing that everyone single one of Kara's love interests have been a flop.

They literally got progressively worse. Meaning we’re left with the absolute worst one as her only potential “endgame” romance for the final season. What I’m saying is, Kara better finish this show single and thriving, lol.

I am totally fine if they keep the relationship casual, not leading to LUUUVVVV!!!! That kind of casual relationship, one that doesn't build to more, is lacking in these shows. There is a level between Oliver/Anissa players and TRU LUUUUUVVVV!!!

In theory I'd agree, except I find him to be a total waste of screentime, and this is a final season where the lead is gonna be separated from everybody else for probably 6 episodes of it, so I'd much prefer to see that screentime once she returns devoted to the characters and relationships I actually give a s*** about.

There's not a snowball's chance in hell they're gonna do that. In fact I suspect they aren't even allowed to. Changing the canon sexuality of a major DC hero on a show that depends on international licensing agreements in countries that aren't so accepting of LGBTQ+ heroes? I've always believed these shows were on a short leash with what they're allowed to do with their borrowed DC characters (which is why they create original characters like Alex, or Oliver's son on Arrow that they're free to do whatever the hell they want with), and I'm quite confident that leash is waaaay too short for a bombshell like that to be okayed by the higher ups. I mean I honestly think it would be cool (because let's be real, she's had more chemistry with Lena than any of her actual love interests in the entire run of the show), so I'd be happy to be wrong, but...it ain't happening.

that Instagram video posted in the Melissa thread back in February: That WAS Zor-El with the group! Just...not the actor who originally played him. Tbf, I only recognized him because of his clothes since he was masked, lol. But I guess that's who Jason Behr is playing now, apparently.

There's really no reason he's still around, lol. He served a purpose last season, at least a little bit, but now? There's no way they don't set them up as love interests/a relationship along the way this season.

Winn should be there in some capacity for the final season. I'd like to see Maxwell Lord back, even though that's probably not going to happen. He was my favorite part of Season 1 and felt like more of the nemesis that Kara wanted compared to Livewire.

Looks like Melissa may not be in the episode that Chyler Leigh directed since she wasn't there due to maternity leave. That could be the young Kara and Alex flashback episode.

Also, Mxy's wife in the comics is Nyxlygsptlnz, so they might be saying "Nyxly." I actually mentioned him returning with his wife being on my wishlist so I hope that's what's going on!

And I gotta say, if that's the Phantom Zone, which I'm pretty sure it is, it's looking pretty drab, lol.

I would expect the Phantom Zone to look drab isn’t it supposed be a kind of nothingness. That would fit the description Ma'alefa'ak gave last season. Kara described her time in the Phantom Zone as quite although at the time she may not have realized where she was since she never left her pod. I realize in the comics people in the Phantom Zone do interact with each other. We’ll see what they come with.

I hope the finale episode title for Supergirl will be Kara Zor-El, Superwoman from Future State.
