New season's name is Survivor: Blood vs Water. So family members are going to be competing. Didn't Big Brother already do this? Not exactly inspired.

Hmm, depends on the setup. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Once a family member gets voted out that sort of seals the other ones fate. Unless we get some really dysfunctional families on the show. I haven't seen the finale , is Russel returning ?

When are they gonna get to my midget season?????

Here's the supposed cast:

Aras Baukauskas(Winner, Exile Island) and his brother Vytas
Gervase Peterson (Borneo) and his nephew E.G.
Rob Cesternino (Amazon, All Stars) and his wife Nicole
Rupert Bonham (Pearl Island, All Stars, Heroes vs. Villains) and his wife Laura.
Tyson Apostal (Tocantins, Heroes vs. Villains) and his girlfriend Rachel
Kat Edorsson (One World) and her cousin Roddy
Laura Morett (Samoa) and her daughter Ciera
RC Saint-Amour (Phillipines) and her father Craig
Tina Wesson (Australia) and her daughter Katie
Monica Culpepper (One World) and her husband Brad

We'll see!

My midget idea is better.

Will all their family members be in one team? Or will both be in the same team?

Judging by that cast, I'm not really hyped for this season. Just wish they'd do a all new cast with no big twist season again.

I think it's a tribe of returnees vs. tribe of family members.

Update on the supposed cast. Apparently, the cast is all in sequester somewhere in LA and will be leaving for the Philippines to film in a couple of days. There's a question about one of the cast members...

Rob C. revealed on Twitter last night that he and his wife are expecting their first child, so he may not be on after all. Although, it certainly could be a clever decoy by Rob, he did mention a couple of days ago that he was going to have limited access to the internet in the next couple of weeks soo.

There are alternates in LA, but the rumored replacement for Rob C. is Colton Cumbie from One World.

Also, it looks like it may not be Kat and her cousin Roddy that will be competing, but Kat and her current boyfriend Hayden Moss. If you don't recognize that name - he was the winner of Big Brother 12.

Ugh. I don't want Colton back (and frankly, I've never been under the impression that Probst does either). Rob C. is the best player to never win aside from Russell. He got a bad break in All-Stars because the real all-stars were taken out by scrubs like Jerri, Amber and Boston Rob.

Interesting notion. Could lead to a lot of bad blood which could lead to fireworks. If is almost like the producers are making the game personal. Interesting move. Hopefully it works out. The cast looks to be good. Could be a good season, especially if Rob C. is in play.

[BLACKOUT]Gervase[/BLACKOUT] is a welcome addition! I know he was originally going to be on Heroes vs. Villains but got cut at the last second. Also surprised they were able to get [BLACKOUT]Tina[/BLACKOUT] back.

Cast isn't bad though I could do without having to listen to the seizure inducing laughter of RC.

Colbie was the big thing in his first season and when they brought him back he turned into something more akin to Sherri from this season. A complete non-factor.

They shouldn't have married people playing the game since they automatically share the money and therefore will never really turn on each other.

I hope they don't bring back
Colton
. That POS should never be allowed back.

All in all I think it's a rather uninspired selection if true. But I said the same before Caramoan and it actually turned out to be a pretty good season :)

Hayden would be interesting to watch. He played one of the best games ever in BB12, was a great social player that stuck with his alliance, knew how to cut people without making it personal and was great in challenges.

My little brother is huge on Survivor. I thought crying girl would win last night. Oh well. This name kind of doesn't make sense. It would make sense if the family members were on the same team as their relatives.

That is surprising. Obviously most winners don't want to come back because it places an immediate target on your back. However I think a season of all winners could be possible. I kind of feel it's unfair to keep bringing the same people back though when so many people out there deserve a shot.

Or they could do the Donald Trump version: call it All-Stars but then bring back some of the worst people to ever play the game.

We just had that season. :o

But they weren't called "All-Stars". Sure, they were called "Favorites", which they weren't, but at least "Favorites" doesn't imply actual competence.

Apparently Redemption Island is back for this season.

Ugh... when it was only used for two seasons, I assumed that was for a reason.
