The Dark Knight Rises TDKR Crowd Reports & Theater Reactions

Oh man my showing is being let in 3hrs early. This is insane :D

That's what they did for the Avengers midnight showing. Usually you have to wait in line until about 30-40 minutes before the film starts, but for Avengers they instantly let people in the theater. I hope they do that for Imax tonight.

At the marathon in Austin. People who reserve a ton of seats are stupid.

They should. They let me and the other people in roughly around 2:15 PM. 1 hour until Batman Begins!

My excitement level just dropped big time. Sitting right next to a family with little kids! :cmad:

Channel 4 News is here in Nashville.

14 min till they go live with a few interviews.

After work crowd is coming. Theater is filling up fast. Projectionist is flashing the light and making bat symbols with his hands lol. I feel like the only one who is excited to watch Batman Begins.

Confession: I've never seen BB in theaters.

I'm really excited :)

The cinema screening I attended was glued to the screen the whole time. There were people talking before the movie started, but as soon as the lights went down people hushed and put on their seat belts. Anne received a good response from the crowd. :)

Regal Pointe in Orlando, FL is absolutely packed. I've never seen this many people at a theater in my life.

Alot of people came dressed up too, saw a few wearing Gotham City Imposters costumes.

Shout out to any other Hypsters that are in line here!

Like 20th in line at Amc Cherry Hill 24. Bad costumes and even worse joker impersonations galore here. ****ing dude just won't let up with it. We also have a guy who won't shut up about marvel only makes movies for kids, hence why he will never see one. We've hit the bottom rung of fanboyism ladies and gentlemen.

Everyone cheered once the WB logo and cue the music for Batman Begins. Crowd is jacked up, laughing during the funny parts, clapped and cheered at the end. TDK in 20 min!

Everyone going to midnight screenings should be really pumped right now (if your on the east coast that is lol). We are officially one hour away from 12:00am July 20th!!!!!!!

Who's ready for this EPIC finale?! My theater roared at the end of TDK! This is the most energetic audience I've ever been around. I'll be back here after the film!

Glad I had a pretty quiet showing earlier. This midnight showing is crazy

Haha I feel sorry for people who have to get there early. I got there with like 15 minutes to spare.

Lots of dead silence during some scenes that just left people in awe. The emotional scenes, I heard quite a few people crying. And when it ended, there was a raucous standing ovation roaring with cheers, clapping, and lots of people whistling.

I loved 'Rises' and will be posting a review in the appropriate thread later today!

I heard some ooohs and aaaaahhs during some scenes, I had to push back the tears some times...guess it comes with growing up as a bat-freak

I heard 3 holy shots when Tate has her moment. You could hear a pin drop when Bane breaks Batman

The audience I was with really got into the film. Respectful during the quiet moments and loud during the good moments. There was a guy there with an amazing Bat suit. He didn't seem to want to hold my Batman figure, but he did it anyway. Really great experience.

Mostly attentive silence, moments of laughter, tears shed and standing ovations were all the rave at my showing! I wont forget this day 7/20/12
