How was he thrown away?

One moment he was there and the next he was eating a batpod missile. It was completely anticlimactic. He was just another goon you see getting disposed of in a flash.

The moment Talia came into play it's as if he became a nobody. Yes, Talia is the leader, but it's as if Bane transformed into a silent lapdog.

When we saw Bane wreck Batman, we were given the time to appreciate the moment and relish Bane's accomplishment.

Here, nothing. BAM! He's dead, nothing to see here.

Yeah, but if both concepts are forced, how is that helping your opinion on how it isn't forced? What, just because the same idea happened in the comics? It doesn't matter either way, at the end of the day, it was forced.

It's a matter of opinion my friend. Yours is that it's forced. His is that it isn't. You state it like your opinion is fact, which it is not.

Also, it doesn't make sense that the bat symbol repair would be to let Gordon know that he was alive because, well, Gordon really wasn't at all emotionally invested in Batman as a person. He said as much multiple times. Like Bruce himself, Gordon was more concerned with what Batman represented as a symbol.

Also, I didn't think the auto pilot fix wasn't made to let Lucius know he was alive. He just fixed it so he could, y'know, not die.

Besides, having each of his little "presents" just contain the same message is much too basic. It makes much more sense that they would be tailored to suit each individual person. For Alfred, it was to who that he was alive, for Blake, it was to give his life new meaning, and for Gordon, it was to show that the Batman - the symbol - would be back.

Gordon is emotionally invested in Batman. He saved his boy

My point is if it's forced in both worlds why is everyone complaining. That's just how it is then. If people want batman to go their own way ... They should have written it themselves

Dude, this is a forum, everything that I write down is going to be of my opinion. I don't have to say "in my opinion" after every single post I make, which should be obvious to anybody who spends time on forums.

And my point was that what he just told me doesn't make sense. He just said, "well, this happened in the comics and it felt forced, so therefore, this doesn't feel forced". That doesn't make sense.

No I never meant to say its not forced. I'm just saying that's how it is... And how it's supposed to be. I wouldn't want another 2 hours of a movie with Blake going through the league of shadows. Then it would just be boring. I don't like that people aren't accepting this ending I mean what more could you want.

I saw it last night and i'm glad it's finally over. For the most part it was great, it was just a weird movie. It had a weird feeling to it as it was nothing like the other two.
Batman looked really pathetic in the sewer fight with the desperate ploys to come out on top like throwing the smoke bombs and turning off the lights. The yelling he was doing worked out perfectly though.

Also, Bane looked massive, especially when you saw him without a shirt on like in his lair and in the sewer fight. They must have used some sort of cgi on him and it was obvious that they were using camera work to make him taller, especially when he killed dagget.

There was a funny error in the movie. When bruce is showing alfred all of the paper headlines on selina, one of them reads something about a cat burglar heist, but the word heist is spelled h 'i' est. It goes by very quickly but i caught it. I don't think anyone spells it that way, so that was very amusing that such a glare would make it to the final cut.

Something i did not like was how talia was revealed and then bane was basically just her puppy dog. It just didn't work at all and threw everything off balance. They should have made it where he wanted to rule gotham or something and then she betrayed him to reveal she wanted to blow it up for real. That would have made more sense, but a minor complaint really.

Three quick questions:
1. In the scene where Gordon is in the hospital and talking to Batman/Bruce, is Bruce dressed as Batman, just himself, or wearing a ski-mask or something?
2. How/When/Why is batman's true identity revealed to Gordon?
3. Would you classify John Blake and Bruce's relationship as a bromance? Do they interact a lot, and how does blake figure out batman's identity?
Thanks:hrt:

1. Its a ski mask
2.He heavily implies to Gordon at the end that he's Wayne, and Gordon figures it out.
3. Yes, Bruce really likes Blake a lot. Blake found out when he was a kid. He explains it the first time he talks to Wayne in the begging of the movie.

I didn't mind

Bane's death. Not sure what would have been better. You can't have Batman kill him, so it's tough to do anything super dramatic. I actually liked the little quip by Selina. I thought it kind of perfectly showed the dynamic between them. A very different outlook on the world, but in the end, want the same thing. And I don't agree he was just thrown away in 2 seconds. He and Batman went back and forth, Batman bested him, cowered him and broke his mask. Then the tables turned on him with Talia. Then the gun, and finally Selina.

Quick question...

So, like, after Wayne escaped Bane's prison, how exactly did he get back to Gotham? They stressed that not a soul can go in or out of Gotham, yet Bruce just kind of appears in there. And he's broke, so he has no connections to get him there. No commercial flights would b available since it's a warzone. And I don't want to hear "He's Batman." as an answer.

Here ya go

1. He's dressed as himself with a mask on.

2. Batman hints about Gordon putting the coat on him as a kid He just puts two and two together. When is like the last 10 minutes. Why.. Uhm honestly don't know. I think cause Gordon says something like "we should know who you are"

3. Haha no bruce can just see a lot of himself in blake. He tells him he should wear mask. He's more of a mentor. They interact as much as batman would with robin (wink wink) and Blake is just smart. He assumes that Bruce is bats but never really is sure until the end.

I've said this before already, but this movie has the most plot holes out of all of the Nolan movies. A lot of it doesn't add up.

Sorry dude. But he's batman. Haha and it's a movie. It doesn't matter

Yup. I mean bane was a beast and all but that was pretty good.

Bruce returning

To Gotham was a problem. "He's Batman" is the only answer you can really get. He must have snuck on a cargo plane back to the U.S. and then figured out some way of climbing the bottom of a bridge or something lol.

Guys there are no plot holes. It's a comic book movie... That's just how it is

how did batman fix his broken back in a few weeks? Where did he get a razor when he got back to gotham? How did he shower? Don't you think he smelled? If he got bigger in prison while working out don't you think the suit would fit a little differently?

It would have been cool to show how he got back but who cares? Hes batman it just shows how bada** he is it's a movie not a documentary people.

Basically this, I don't need I to be shown or answered. I'm one of those kinds of people tha can use my imagination. Some people can't seem to do tha they want everything explained or answered. Or look at it as a plot hole.

Me I can just create my own vision, he's gotten in and out of the country before. And he's Batman he has to save Gotham, sure he made his way back into the city by any means necessary.

Another thing some people at first didn't realize
it's a span of about 23 days isn't it between him escaping then making it back. Lucious talk about the bomb having 23 days left. Then the scene of Bruce escaping, then back in Gotham them discussing the bomb againg say 1 day left.

So had to be 22 days in between. Enough time for Bruce I'm sure to do anything and everything he could to both find a way out of the country back to the states. And then a way to get back into Gotham.

And boom that's enough for me and doesn't ruin anything.

This isnt the first time where batman just "appears" out of no where so i dont see what the big deal is

Good answer.

BTW, as a side note, the most disappointing part of going to this movie happened before it actually began. That Superman trailer was lame! It was like 20 seconds of nothing. Boooooo!!!

Quick thought. I love the concept of the rich getting richer poor gettin poorer. And taking from the one percent. Honestly I was on banes side the whole time ... except for him blowing the city up.
But really it showed exactly how things really are... Even the court scene made sense.

Yeah that was lame... They did that just to say "hey there's a superman movie coming out"

Bane's fate is awful.

Awful.

There are so many better options. There's nothing to redeem it like Dent's death.

Not sure where the idea that Jean Paul Valley becoming Batman being forced is coming from. There were multiple storylines and a miniseries leading up to it.
