Gill just went offline![]()
gillberg2k1 said:That's the theory. There is additional content they have been working on, but they felt there was a market to do a double dip prior to the release of TDKR for numerous reasons. My sources had mentioned potentially adding on the TDKR prologue, but in the end its all about overhead. It's cheaper for WB to just reissue the original blu-rays in a new package and call it good for the time being. There was talk of adding a "coupon" with a code you could enter online to "unlock" the prologue digitally, but that never got off the ground.
Since the steelbooks had previously been released in other markets, this was a nice compromise and a way to generate some BD revenue.
Having said that, my understanding is that the trilogy release will be pretty hefty.
OT: @DarthSkywalker You may want to update your sig
Back on topic, yeah I can definitely see Superman being WB's next big franchise. For some reason, as much as I love DC, I just can't get on board with a JL movie at all
I can't really explain, I just feel it would fail.

Thanks for that, so he's already answered my question. Stinks that we're probably not going to get the prologue digitally in that case, and yet again the excuse is saving costs just like the lack of 42e or a proper viral. Ah well.

No, they don't. I also favored the Comedian-Night Owl riot, Alley Fight, and Prison scenes very much so. They were executed and shot perfectly.
Every film has several condensed scenes, please.![]()
t: cant wait. After TDKR, I'm on Team MOS. I hope it spawns a successful series of quality films and makes me fall in love with the character of Superman, same as how I came to love the character of Batman through Nolan's fins.
Not really interested in JL either, even though I enjoyed the old cartoon. I don't think it would work unless they really built it up, and even then it would take a lot of work.
t:Hey man, that quote in your sig..
Nolan: "Oh, it's on. Here Emma, hold my vest." wheres that from? I looked into the Garry one and it was hilarious lol.

That quote came about just recently when it was revealed that David O'Russell put Christopher Nolan in a headlock at a Hollywood party.![]()

Must have more info and a videot: thanks!
I still doubt that story is actually true, it's just so ****ing hilarious to be..![]()

Some SNL sketch I read about with Nic Cage and Liam Neeson, it was said there was a Ra's reference.
Is it just me or does it seem that Man of Steel will be using a few elements from the aborted Superman movie scripts? Supes' suit sounds eerily close to how the suit was supposed to appear in the very end of Tim Burton's rendition of Superman Lives (dark blue, no trunks, blood red cape)... also I'm sure that tornado scene (from this rumored description) was in a prior aborted script where Supes undoes a tornado attacking Smallville.
