Cage is very capable of being spontaneous, something that is definitely needed for Joker.

Uhhh.. Is yet another new poster released tomorrow???

Maybe. ;)

Cage is a special case though, he's one of the most versatile actors of the past 30 years.

I honestly think if you could deage him by about 10 years, he'd be an amazing Joker. Like the one from Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo's Joker graphic novel.

I wasn't talking about Cage in particular, but I agree with you to some extend - he's not a terrible actor. But I don't think I would like him as Joker. I like Travolta too for example, Pulp Fiction is my favorite film of all time, I'm even dressing as Vincent for a carnival event soon, but I wouldn't like to see him in a role as a superhero or villain just because he looks to part.

Then again, it's just how I personally feel.

I think its a bit late with the Alicia Silverstone one.

Yeah... I know...

UNLESS you think of that movie as a NON-BATMAN! We can call it: "The Masked guy vs The Ice Age Terminator"

(I love that smiley!)

Anyone that saw the episode of Breaking Bad titled 'Crawl Space' knows who should be the next Joker - just a shame he's probably a bit too old for it now.

Anybody wish Oldman had patches of grey in this film? Even Bruce has it. Isn't Gordon far older than Bruce? He was an adult when Bruce was a child (with the same mustache!). Sure, you could say he dyes it, but it adds character imo.

Gordon is image conscious enough to use the old "Just for Men". It'll be part of the marketing campaign too. There has already been some adverts featuring Oldman over here in the UK.

Before we heard of the 8 year time jump... I thought Oldman's Gordon looked a little haggard in the set pics.

I think Gordon (or Gary naturally) has aged appropiately. But yeah a little gray wouldn't have hurt.

Yeah, or all out grey.
I think that every time I see Oldman in the trailers.

Just because someone can laugh in a high register, doesn't make them a good choice for Joker.I hate seeing posts like this,so damn amateur. No offense bud.:BA

I have thought of that too, would have loved it as a detail.

TB - No, I agree, being a great actor does though. Go and get laid dude, smell the flowers eh?

Oldman looks like he has some grey roots in the new high-res photos or might just be the lighting.

Oldman couldn't look more epic if he tried .

Absolutely!

It's the first time I pay close attention to this photo, I just realized he's kinda looking down. I always thought he looks at the camera. :D But now I like that photo even more.

After Oldman, I cannot picture anyone else in that role... No matter how good the next Gordon will be, I think I'll see it as someone pretending to be Gordon - because Gary IS Gordon! :oldrazz:

Agreed, it could be the lighting but I see some grey and his stache looks grey too.
