Just reading the June issue for the American Cinematographer, there's a two page article on Wally Pfister. A small mention for The Dark Knight Rises. Do you guys want me to scan it?

Fair enough, but it seems unrealistic that people would not be suspicious by now. Bruce is back - there's a vigilante named Batman in Gotham. Bruce is gone - the vigilante Batman is gone. Bruce returns again - the vigilante Batman is back.

1. People probably still think Batman doesn't exist. In TDK, he was still a superstition. I have yet to see an official announcement saying that he is indeed real, with actual hardcore evidence. I'm talking about an exclusive interview with Batman.

2. On the news and in interviews, saying Batman is real is the same as quack-citizens believing that Bin Laden wasn't really killed last year, or that the war in Iraq is a spook story used for fear mongering. He's Abraham Lincoln, BigFoot.

3. If anything, Bruce Wayne would be the LAST person I'd EVER suspect of being Batman. The connection between both personas coming and going is totally irrelevant. In the public eye, he's a borderline alcoholic who just parties... a male Paris Hilton, who hasn't grown up yet.

It's like looking at Tiger Woods...

...and saying, "Oh my God guys, guess what? I just figured out that Tiger Woods is Super-Eclipse-Guy!"

I'm so happy that we're getting a dramatic moment between Fox and Bruce. Even though we know that he's more than that, Fox almost seems to be just there to provide the toys and be a comedic relief in the past 2 movies.

This scene looks so emotional.

This was my favourite shot and piece of dialogue in the two spots, and I actually thought that was Alfred but is it Conte? I also liked the humour with Bruce and Alfred at the end of spot one.
