Theoretically most if not all the pearls were recovered. Most ended up on the floor, if not all of them. All you would have to do is make another necklace out of them.

His parents where killed by Joe Chill. They have overwhelming evidence he did it seeing as he was caught that same night.

They would have most definitely returned it back to him by the next day if not that same night.

Uh, reaching for what exactly? I'm not offering a theory or anything? I would say if anything is 'reaching', its that they saved the pearls and Bruce at age 10 or w.e. wanted to put them back together. So, I was going through and organizing my collection of Batman pictures today...

I stumbled across a pair that depicted a concept for the Batcave in TDKR. Now, I saved these over a year ago, and back then everyone blew it off as fanart (in part because the header said 'The Dark Night Rises', an amateur typo.

...However, the new Mountain Dew promotional website preview has revealed a new Batcave that features a LOT!!! of similarities between what we're going to see in the film and what this artist drew.

This includes the turning circular platform the Tumbler is on, the walls with pipe ends and little dribbles of rust staining them, the Batsuit chamber, and a few other little things.

I'm not currently on a computer that isn't a piece of crap, so I'll try to upload the pictures for you guys tomorrow. Nothing huge, but it might give us more of a glimpse into what we may see in the final product.

(PS - Did I miss it, or was the Batcave thread deleted? )

The Waynes probably have a very good safe. And considering Bruce somehow has access to one of his father's old robes, we have no idea where most of the family heirlooms are.
