Yeah, not going to lie this is the only movie of the DCEU that I'm worried about. But at least they have someone doing rewrites. Hopefully they find a director that wants to do it like Tim Miller on Deadpool.

I think if they take their time and try to get it right, it'll be fine. I'll wait and see who gets the directing job and who else joins the cast before worrying.

Hughes exclusively reported that Cyborg was in the Flash movie in the interview with Deborah Snyder last year, before Variety decided to take the credit and report it as their own "exclusive" months later.

Anyway, looks like they are shooting for 2019, Flash movie with Cyborg's support, I'm hoping for some Titans teases/easter eggs too as a lead in to the Titans movie.

Any chance that Flash gets delayed? If it's being completely rewritten then there's a good chance that it'll fail if it's rushed. DC in general need to possibly stop rushing their universe since there's a good chance that Wonder Woman and Justice League will flop.

Flash is geared towards a 2019 release date, rather than the 2018 one. They are not rushing it.

The script Famuyiwa developed was apparently darker, it had way more Barry Allen than The Flash, Captain Cold was dark and Cyborg was going to die. But those are just rumors. If real they're doing a good thing by getting Joby Harold to make a page one rewrite.

I'm sorry, that's ridiculous. Implying that Cyborg dies alone (in a movie that isn't his, BEFORE his already announced movie, and that the one black hero is the one getting killed? It is stunning to me that anyone would buy that.

Wish we could also have Emil Hamilton as a nice supporting role as well, I'm just still bitter about his pointless death in MoS.
