Sally Field Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were all the best parts to me and if some one not sony had the right direction it would have been completely better and would have made AG the definitive spidey which saddens me knowing he got the raw end of the deal and now most look at his Peter?Spidey as a failure to the character *sighs*

Shouldnt they combine both ASM Threads into a general Webb Series Thread?

I hope they use the first Amazing Spider-Man place to make it the Webb Series.

Anyway

The part that starts at 3:44 is a feel good bit.

Good pick, 'Ziz. Love that one. Really shows Peter evolving and becoming good ol' Spidey.

A few images of the costume in motion

Rewatching this now. I don't know why I've never commented before about the sheer stupidity of the underground train lab. I can't even imagine how anyone thought that was a good idea, or how it managed it make its way into the final film.

I thought you'd completely refuse to watch this again.
The confusing stupidity of that bit kept numerous folks speechless, starting with how the subway tokens made him locate the exact position of the train lab, and which wall to knock on to be able to go through to use the subway token.....

:funny:
Took you long enough to come here and reply to my epic post.

Better question; why are you torturing yourself, and wasting 2 hours of your life rewatching it again?

Hey now, this trainwreck is in some ways indirectly responsible for the MCU Spider-man so show some respect :o

It's responsible for delaying the inclusion of Spider-Man in the MCU.
Wish the delay lasted longer.

I sound like a broken record.

Were there any rumors of what TASM3 would have entailed?

I believe this was when Spidey returned in action and thanked the kid for "stepping in" for him. If so, I remember tearing up at this. Didn't cry when Gwen died as I felt it coming for a while, but that scene? Man, it was tough for me. Had a lot of heart.

I think Mary Jane was the only certainty. Probably Peter coping with Gwen's death.

Oh, and apparently this:

IGN was speaking with Denis Leary at San Diego Comic-Con and they asked him if he was disappointed there would not be an an end to the story he helped start. It turns out he was quite disappointed there would not be a third film, because he was going to come back from the dead to be in it:

"Possibly in 3, there was this idea at one point that Spider-Man would be able to take this formula and regenerate the people in his life that had died. So, there was this discussion that Captain Stacy would come back even bigger in episode 3."

So, clone saga adaptation? I'm not even sure. Guess it's good it ended the way it did.

Wait, they actually wanted Spider-Man to raise the dead? LOL. Thankfully the franchise blewout like a fart in the wind.

Even those of us who liked the TASM films have to admit that it took the mythos in some unusual directions.

Sony sucks. Not just for their ASM franchise, but for every franchise they own. Anything good they have, they feel the need to run it into the ground and ruin it. I wish Spidey was 100% back at marvel.

Amazing that they looked at the villains in Spidey 3 and thought 'not terrible enough' and gave us the dynamic duo of Electro and Goblin.

I think Toby Maguire can express what we think of the idea, especially if it did happen.
