GL was never a terrible film IMO. Not great by any means either.

But, it's only RIMs opinion. It could be one we may all share after we see it lol, but it may not

You know a good deal of people didn't like Iron Man 2 and I think it's entertaining as hell.

Hope I feel the same about this film.

Even if it's bad, I don't think it's bad in the same ways that th Green Lanter was. I mean, someone asked him to compare it to a movie and he just probably thought of a bad superhero movie quickly so he just said it without really thinking if it's the best thing to compare it to

I really hope this film isn't such a boring disappointment. I still want to appreciate it on some levels.

I think RIM saw the potential, but for him, it probably wasn't executed in just the right way.

It is a 'meh' film. Wont disagree there lol. But people have different tastes. RIM didn't like it (or he was just underwhelmed by it) but that does not mean you will think it is of GL quality. You may find it to be Batman Begins quality.

Some users have taken what RIM has said to heart and are now believing the film will 'suck'. Which is silly. I can understand being cautious. But we;ve also heard some good things about it.

You may be right. This may not be the spiderman he wanted to see. I know that the Raimi spidey was not the spidey I wanted. But that's taste. It's all different.

If we were supposed to have the same likes and dislikes as someone else, god would've made us all the same. Everyone has opinions. RIM didn't like the movie. I don't like the Iron Man movies. Everyone is different.

I loved BR. That would be a very good quality starting point IMO.

I'm serious. I believe RIM dislikes the film, there is a lot that might be hard to comprehend for the fans but it still was a nice film. I imagine the GA will accept it, while some fans may not.
