This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]386819[/split]
Of course the love story is important. Why do you think The Death of Gwen Stacy is considered the best Spidey story ever told?
Word. I feel bad for actively rooting to see Gwen die, especially since it's Emma Stone, but...Exactly. And we can't have a story like that without the romantic connection. God, I can't wait to see that story play out onscreen.

Here's the thing about Twilight: there's nothing wrong with romance. It may not be my bag, but I can see why the genre has merit. Twilight's problem is that it has a vapid main character, two love interests who are totally one-dimensional, and it throws in a supernatural component that really adds very little to the story.

It's really all about this. It's not what they did... well part of it is what they did, but it's mostly about how they did it. How they executed the romance.
But anywho, I do want to see Gwen Stacy fall off a bridge.
