It's interesting that the negative critic reactions are mostly founded on the fact that it feels like it's 'recycled' content. Honestly, the origin of the character is so iconic that even if it is a relatively similar rehash of something we got a while back - as long it's entertaining, I don't see a reason to knock the film for it.
