Mayo's trolling us...I hope.

Well of course they get paid, if you cant see Andrews passion and dedecation for this role, your delusional.

Yeah, but my point though is that if you're really disappointed by the end result, at least there's a reason why you shouldn't feel that way. And of course, I'm assuming most people here are big fans of the Raimi films, you'll still have those to fall back on and watch.

Why has everyone suddenly become so concerned ? Is there something that I don't know ?

I don't think so. It's just with the release date coming closer and screenings being show everything is getting a bit tense.

I actually don't know. lol That FilmNerd dude said a few friends of his said it was worse than SM3.

Someone pointed out earlier that it's the nature of the Internet..before that comment it was positive tweets coming out, even Pac-Master said a few people he knows saw it and loved it BUT, the internet being what it is, people focus on the negative. It's almost like a law of physics

Like I said though, this could be split down the middle. Some will love it and some will hate it. Some say it's the best spider-man yet and others say it's worse than SM3.

The thing is we don't have enough info yet as to whether there is any credibility behind these claims. It's killing me because most of the tweet's have been positive and it has really built up my hope for this film. Really don't want to get that suddenly crushed. I would be gutted.

That's why I hate it. We only recognize the negative.

Theres NO WAY in hell that the film is worse than SM3, everything we have seen owns that series so far. Even the Twitter comments (which we can trust) said the film is great.

Now, now, I wouldn't say no way in Hell; but I honestly doubt it.

I honestly would be fine if the film had negative reviews, which I don't doubt it will, but it's literally gone through hell as far as I can tell trying to prove that it's a worthy film. Just the addition of certain reviewers having some sort of grudge in making the film look bad is what concerns me most, and perhaps the ultimate truth.

At the end of the day though, "credibility" on the subject of reviews just comes down to who's word do you trust. If I saw a movie and Roger Ebert saw a movie and I say it's great and he says it's a piece of trash, who will you believe? It's all about opinion. The guys who went to the press screening and tweeted their reactions are just as valid as the ones who went and can't say a word. They're still writers, still journalists in one capacity or another

Well the thing about that is, we'll never be able to truly know what's in a person's heart. We can assume they're holding a grudge but the world will never know, that's between them and which ever God they pray to.

This is one of the most reasonable things I have read on here recently

I think everyone is just concerned. The professional reviews will be the ones I listen to the most. The one's that will hopefully view this film with an unbiased opinion. There will certainly be people who put this film down because they have an agenda. They are either angry the last Spider-Man series was cancelled or they want Spidey in an Avengers movie. There will of course be negative reviews because no film will go unscathed. I just hope the positive out ways the negative in this case.

I certainly WOULD. Look at the real stunts, Garfield is actually doing most the things in the film, hes acting like Peter/Spider-Man that all true fans KNOW. We see REAL chemistry with Emma and Andrew, instead moldy bread between Kristen and Tobey. Even the action in this looks 90000 times better, which we all must agree on.
Everything looks better, everything.

It wont be, I say this right now that what were going to see in this film will complety destroy the others. Bring on your hate comments, whine and cry to me. I honestly dont care anymore. If you call me insane or stupid, anymore, your a sad person.

I agree with your assessment. I like your..enthusiasm and confidence. I just hope you're right.

Not trying to be an ass or anything, I genuinely want to know...how old are you?

You really should have listened to me.....see you in a couple of months.

Thank you, sir. I appreciate the love.

@Ashes2Phoenix I get where you're coming from but that way of thinking, that there are already reviews coming from guys who are upset or can't be professional or a plethora of reasons, is just going to piss you off lol..You gotta let that stuff go man, life's too short. If it makes you feel better, just go to Rotten Tomatoes when the flick comes out and read the aggregated reviews or just read reviews from places you trust to be fair and real with their opinions. You'll be able to tell a "bad" review in a heartbeat because you can't hide biases in a review but again, it's up to you to decide how much stock you want to invest in that review. I trust IGN wholeheartedly with reviews and their opinions but that doesn't mean I always agree with them. I just read a review for Prometheus on another website and the guy hated it. Did not think it was a good flick at all but I thought it was good..it's his opinion and he can say whatever he wants, I still liked the movie but can see why he didn't. F*** being concerned about the reviews, I'm concerned about when I sit down in a theater at a midnight showing and the lights dim on July 3. If I walk out the theater with a smile on my face, I'm good to go.

You got people who have seen it and love it..you got people who seen it who aren't that high on it..welcome to the world of film
