No offense, but you haven't been on here that long to even notice.

Look back through the Spidey boards and you'll find out that I enjoyed that chase clip. I may not be all positive to these clips, because, well, I didn't enjoy most of them, but still....that's what you say? Do I have to be extremely positive over EVERY clip? :o

I have been here since the 3rd trailer and all these clips have started coming out after that

Maybe this movie isnt your piece of cake, you seem like a Batman fan who likes nolan-esque dark stuff

Its about opinions,I didnt enjoy TDK

This movie isnt supposed to be dark, its supposed to be humours, well grounded, full of action
Avenger-esque but more realistic

Now how can you compare a dent on a football field goal that takes less than 2 seconds with a full dance sequence/montage that lasts for more than one minute and a half?

Denial is also a river in Egypt.

Didn't bother me in SM1 either when he runs out of the dining hall with a food tray dragging from a web coming out of his wrist as he heads to the lockers where he'll do an octuplet backflip over the school bully and then punch him halfway down a corridor. :)

Hahahaha! This post = win!

By the way, I liked the clip! Though, the last jump was a little over the top (loved the popping gum though haha) and I think Peter is just a little too cocky. Though it may fit when watching it in context.

Overall a really nice clip!

Webb won't mess it up. If you watch 500 Days Of Summer, you'll understand why me and others have so much faith in this.

Webb had done one movie. That's a lot of faith. Here's hoping but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm not?

So I can't have doubts that in some way Arad could screw this movie up royally since he could've ruined Spider-Man 4 and DID ruin Spider-Man 3?

I can't have doubts that there are so many feelings and tones with this film that it could turn out to be a mess?

I can't have doubts that Webb COULD mess this up?

Yah, I have some doubts, but I will still be watching the midnight showing.
Hey man...I'm on your side...I was being sarcastic since people got offended by people pointing out the flaws in the blatantly corny dunk scene.

Yeah, Dominos, you. Go-off.

I break out suddenly and noisily?

I own and love that film, and I have two things to say about Webb...he could pull a Nolan and make a huge CBM, or he could pull a Gavin Hood as well. Again, it's hard to say right at this moment.

It's about opinions, definitely, and your opinion on me is definitely wrong. I don't like "Nolan-esque" dark, which isn't very dark to begin with, but again, the scenes that I don't like, it's not because of the tones whatsoever. I love Spider-Man 2 and that should tell you that I don't always enjoy "Nolan-esque" dark. Why would I enjoy the Captain Stacy/Peter clip if I only loved "Nolan-esque" dark???

I guess all the people giving positice reviews and saying it is on par with the avengers were hallucinating and the movie is terrible *sigh*

I don't get how anyone would think this is cheese. Peter is "abusing" his powers because he's enjoying his new found strength, specifically over Flash. He's showboating purposely to embarrass Flash.

I also do not understand in what world ANYONE would say, "That kid made a crazy dunk. Clearly Spider-Man." The people there are obviously blown away but I think it's be a HUGE leap to connect a nerdy kid in high school to Spider-Man off a single incident like that.

I just say, let Anno_Domini like or dislike whatever he wants, it's not as if it will affect the film for you anything anyway.

I love what I've seen from this film so far. That someone else doesn't think the same doesn't change that.

Hey, didn't realise it was you. Why did you put 'legendary' in your name? Compensating? :D

Everyone's getting all sore about stuff, but it's just people disagreeing. You know, some like it, some don't, and when people voice their thoughts others will challenge them because they don't agree. It's all ego. The lovers don't care about you liking the film, they just want you to agree with them. Same goes the other way. What enjoyment would I get out of Chase enjoying the film? He's in a different country and I won't get to see his lil face smile when he's so utterly entertained. But it's always nice when people agree with you because it's more proof that you're not alone in this terrible world. Just like it doesn't matter which corporate body earns more money from their summer blockbuster. Not to us anyway. It's all blah blah woof woof. No mind. Legendary.

Exactly
Explain it to anno
Any 17 year old with super powers will abuse them and get cocky,he only gets responsible after Ben's death, thats the whole point of the responsiblity phrase
They need to showcase his cockiness, its a part of the character

Who's telling the big go-off what to like? I thought we were in teh banter?

Also about flash putting 2 and 2 together,a guy in unitard swinging around in web fighting a gaint lizard is still to fantastic to connect to a kid who broke the basket in high school

I wasn't saying that to be an ass, haha. Just stating what worries me. That's cool if you get what I'm talking about though.

The beginning's not cheesy. When he slam dunks though...

sure, I get how in this stage, Peter is only just beginning to abuse his powers, but goofing around with Flash is one thing, going up and breaking the glass and yanking the hoop off isn't really funny.

I'm only using quotes because it's not even that accurate of a term.

haha yeah i changed my name to match my viddy account name...had a nice ring to it ;)

and hey man i understand we all have our own opinions and i enjoy all this conversation and this lil bit controversy...makes it fun :)

In my opinion, I didn't find the basketball scene cheesy, it was borderline though. The football scene was cheesy to me though.

Explain what to me? Explain that he's abusing his powers because I didn't like the little bit of him dunking? How will that get me to be like "Oh, now I like the scene!"

Also about flash putting 2 and 2 together,a guy in unitard swinging around in web fighting a gaint lizard is still to fantastic to connect to a kid who broke the basket in high school

Flash isn't that bright anyways.

Who's telling the big go-off what to like? I thought we were in teh banter?

What I mean is: simply ignore him, or others who doesn't seen to like anything about this film. I do so nowadays. It's pretty clear that he probably won't like this film anyway. There's also no need to try to convince him anything. There are people who don't like stuff from this film so far, and there are others who do. Simple as that, it's just a matter of different taste. Then, one can argue why people would want to spend time here if they dislike everything about the film.

I really don't like the Star Wars movies. Other people can't change that. Though, I wouldn't spend any second on Star Wars discussion boards.

Lol!

Are you guys kidding me? I don't like certain clips and people are calling out that I hate this film? Good lord...fanboys these days. You MUST like everything otherwise fans will say you hate the film.

That means nothing, once again. Green Lantern got positive responses from advanced screenings, and look how that turned out.

At this moment, we still have no clue if the movie is good or bad. Before condemning or crowning it, why don't we actually...WATCH it
