The Dark Knight Rises The Art of The Dark Knight Trilogy

Is there a lot of information in the books not revealed in previous interviews or behind the scenes content? I plan to purchase all that stuff associated with the trilogy and make something of a collection of it, but I don't have the funds to so I'd rather wait. If there's tons of juicy content in the books though, I'd probably opt to get them now instead of Jaws blu.

Well I suppose that depends on what stuff you've read and seen on the internet. The few bits I have read were knew to me, like how the JFK assassination and funeral inspired the Waynes funeral in Begins and the influences Tom Hardy drew upon to get the voice of Bane.

The bit about JFK I hadn't heard, and I saw in a recent interview Hardy mentioned the voice came from a gypsy voice. I've read/heard/watched most interviews/articles on the film over the years, following everything very closely. While I have 50 posts here give or take, I have 6K+ over on NF, I've been a longtime follower of Nolan.

So if anybody else has followed it all pretty closely and has the book that can describe how much new stuff is in it, that'd be wonderful!

I wouldnt mind an exploration in to how the Bat films and games have gone on to influence the bat comics..

it goes beyond just having the movie car show up in movies....
-wasnt the grapnel gun from batman '89 that led to its more prominent inclusion in the comics??
-the "gliding" ability of the cape was one of my favorite additions from the recent trilogy
-wouldnt mind seeing the explosive gel from the arkham games added to the overall batpouch..
-the Batman Beyond suit had "microphones" on the fingertips so he could eavesdrop on conversations

Scott Snyders recent books seem to have a added alot of nice new little gadgets to the character as well.

Batman's gadgets tend to be a little cyclical.

The cape has been used to glide short distances and slow Batman's falls for years and years, dating back to the 70's.

The movie probably had the most to do with introducing the idea of the grappling gun, and it showed up in A LONELY PLACE OF DYING in 1990, but it was actually Jean Paul Valley who incorporated the grappling gun consistently for the first time during the early 90's in KNIGHTQUEST, and it was the 1992 animated show that really made the grappling hook a mainstay for Batman.

Batman's had various types of explosive gels/foams over the years.

Anyone know where I can get the ebook of this in the UK please?
