People posting spoilers does suck. I personally knew most of the major plot points before going in but there were one or two things that I didn't know that we're awesome, and if I'd gone this far without finding things out I'd hate to have it spoiled in a non-spoiler thread of all places.

People are way too sensitive. Must be exhausting.

I recommend that easily offended people should only watch Teletubbies, because that's probably the only thing they're mentally prepared for in the real world. That show is nothing but sunshine and nonsensical jabbering (so there is no dialogue to offend anyone, of course).
Yeah but teletubbies wades into all those issues of sexuality, there are people here who could easily be offended

Plus I hear Dipsy's a total s**t

Look forward to when all you guys have seen it (hopefully in 4 days time ;)). Can't believe how long Japan has to wait.

Yes, but we all know that Teletubbies are responsible for promoting homosexuality. Especially the Pink one or the Purple one or one of those other colored ones :whatever: (Please don't say I'm talking about African-Americans). Some religious guy even said so :loco:, but I don't remember his name.

Come to think of it, I never watched Teletubbies, but I guess if there's a green one, that's my favorite.

EDIT: I guess when there's a bored guy sitting around with nothing to do, he always beats you to the punch. :cwink:

Over the past few weeks, I've been going through every Marvel movie with my friend in advance of our showing on Thursday. Tonight's the last two, The Dark World and Winter Soldier.

Can't believe it's this week already!

Ugh ACT tomorrow and then still more days of school to get through until Friday.!.!.! D:

Friday couldn't get here too soon!!!!!

If your job was as boring as mine, you'd sneak in those zingers too

So soon mate! Look forward to your opinion afterwards.

Going at 10:15pm to avoid the kids. It's quality bonding time for my dad and I.
Enjoy the movie! There's definitely enough content in there to excite the fans.

Good idea. My optimal time to see a movie is around 7:30 or so due to the fact that I hate watching movies early in the day (unless I am having a marathon that extends into the night) and the fact that any later would be too tiring.

But my theater is an absolute joke to begin with: you have to get there early or you ain't getting a good seat, but you also can't be there too early or else it will be boring and awkward until you can start going into the theater. If you want good seats, you gotta be there at a very specific window of time

I don't know watching Marvel movies or big super hero flicks like this with a large crowd is the best way to do it. Seeing Avengers 1 in a sold out theater with die hard marvel fans, and casual movie going fans was an absolute blast and only added to the experience/epicness. To me, watching this in an almost empty theater kinda sucks some of the fun out of it. But that's just my personal opinion.

Anyway, I am hoping there is a decent turn out for the 10:30pm IMAX 3D showing I have tickets for on Thursday. A local radio station was giving away advanced screening passes to see it tomorrow night ( Tuesday) on their Facebook page tonight and I missed out sadly... So Thursday it is!

It's more so trying to avoid annoying and inconsiderate people (which lets face it there's a lot and usually always run into some at a movie). And also with films like these I wanna avoid annoying children. I hate kids as it is haha

I had a little one behind me during my screening who got up about four or five times for toilet breaks and lollies.

Was that in a non spoiler thread? I'd report the post if it was. I'm so sick of people not using spoiler tags and then saying "what's the big deal?" I know the mods are probably overwhelmed at this point, but a lot of posters clearly have no respect for the rules on the boards. I even had someone question me when I told them to use spoiler tags saying it wasn't a big deal. And back when IM3 came out I asked someone to use spoiler tags, and they told me I'm not a mod and that they can discuss the movie however they want to.

This is becoming more of a common occurrence with releases being split when they used to do global premiers.

Mods should start banning people for this or...heres a idea which I have no idea why they got rid of it. A spoiler forum and a non-spoiler forum. We used to have those on here but they got rid of them.

Yeah no I would not be happy at all haha
That's why Friday or Saturday matinees are your friend. There's enough of a crowd to get a good reaction but not so much that you can't hear anything. I did Friday matinees for TA1 and GotG and then did IM3, TDW, TWS, and GotG on Saturdays and found both day provided a good theater going experience.

No you're right I've been doing Saturday's now for a while. Much better.
