Whedon should keep EVERYTHING from TWS.

Most importantly:
1- the stunt team!! because actions scenes with characters like Cap, BW, Hawkeye, or any other character that can´t turn into flying CGI, should look exactly as they did in TWS.
2- the edting team, because their job was good
3- the CGI team, because things didn´t look cartoonish, but very real and that it always good.

Looks like the costume Hemsworth is wearing in that pic is the Dark World getup. Hopefully Thor gets some new duds along with his Avengers mates. I wasn't too keen on his DW look. Still, it's great to finally get some Thor set pics!

Well, we know Joss picked the cinematographer from Guardians (Ben Davis - Seven Psychopaths, Kick-Ass, Stardust) for AoU.

At first I thought that the guy in the baseball cap to the right of hemsworth looked alot like ryan gosling.

And here's a comparison of this 3 previous film outfits. This definitely looks like his TTDW costume to me, loincloth and all (with silver instead of gold, as others have said).

I wonder if what they were filming today could make up the closing scenes of the movie? Just a thought that occurred to me because I've speculated that Sam would show up in a cameo at the end to meet up with Steve as a lead in for Cap 3. Like perhaps the (surviving) Avengers are having a last meeting/goodbye at Avengers Tower, similar to the final group scene in the park before they went their separate ways in the last movie... And in the background you have the recruits running by and it's part of showing us what Tony's set up for his "privatizing world security" plans.

Yeah, that'd be my bet. Except I don't think there's a chance in hell they're going to "go their separate ways at the end" this time: they're Avengers now. They are a team. They are THE Team. This is their job, this is their calling, this is their destiny.

As I've said many times before, this movie is going to be about building THE Avengers from the comic books, not just a haphazard don't-call-us-we'll-call-you buddy party that shows up once every few years to go beat up some supervillain or other. This is about building humanity's front line of defense, Earth's Mightiest Heroes (trademark that bad boy, Stark!), and recruiting the megateam we Avenger fans have been expecting since this project was first announced years ago.

Welcome to The Age of THE Avengers, and the MCU come to its natural maturity. This is what it's all about, peeps.

Doubt it's necessary. WCA (and GLA, among others) was set up specifically to expand the comic book's geographical reach beyond Manhattan, which was understandably becoming too crowded and stale as the centerpiece of virtually every Marvel franchise during the Silver Age.

With the MCU, there's already a lot less NYC-centrism, so it seems to be already understood that the Avengers will have a global reach.

It's on his left arm right below the cape. You can see a small discolored circle.

For some reason I thought his TDW look was different but guess not. The spy pic looks a little lighter though, almost bluish.

Am I the only one who feels we need to see more of this? -

And no, not just to compete with DC. I'd really like them to establish the main players and their relationships. I'd love for just one long conversation between Steve and Thor. Anything. They barely spoke in Avengers.

RDJ/Stark and Thor is what I'd also love to see. Mainly because of the way MCU Tony reacts to anything.

The 'God's, aliens, other dimensions - I'm just a man in a can...' line is something I hope they explore (being among people like Thor or the twins), despite being a brief situation in IM3.

Im hoping even if the main heroes dont have big conversations, its implied they know each other much better and theres moments where we can see just from their interaction, theyre all buds. Remember Joss is setting up AOU to be like The Godfather II of the series, so things have changed but we'll get all the info we need to know the important details of the story.

I hope to see some Cap+Thor stuff in this. I felt like they were best buds when fighting in Avengers 1. Plus they were best buds on set right?

And if they do have the fight coordinator from TWS I hope that particular fighting style stays exclusive to Cap and no one else. Cap's fighting scenes were uniquely done and extremely well-coordinated in TWS, and it really sets him apart from the other Avengers.

Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt... anymore Chris' in the MCU?

Is The Avengers Academy going to be like the MCU version of Xavier School for The Gifted? I dont know much about it.
