I think 3 should be the last big 3 avengers movie. After that they could do a west coast movie, but they should just call it avengers 4. Replace the big 3 (and possibly hulk) with ant man, wasp, falcon, war machine, black panther, Bucky as cap and namor. by the fourth might be okay to retire black widow as well, leaving hawk eye the only original member. Kang can be their big threat.

I could see a civil war for #5 with war machine and Bucky cap in the tony and Steve roles.
Just think that after essentially 2 trilogies for each of the big 3 it would be time to shift the focus of the MCU.

That film could make a biillion. Which means they'd be throwing away at least another billion. We don't know if any of these heroes can lead a film yet, although I'd like to see them all.

I do agree they should give the solo films a rest after 3 each and switch the focus of the MCU to other heroes but some of the big 4 should still appear in further Avengers films, even if in smaller roles for eg if they're injured or something. One or 2 can skip a film or 2 here and there but they should at least seem like they're still members and part of the cause even when playing no part.

Thor goes back to Asgard to be king. He's still a distant part of the marvel universe and is open to playing a major role in future movies, just more of a background role.

Iron man is already semiretired. He can actual retire after avengers 3.

Cap can be martyred.

Hulk can go back to doing his own thing. Eg solo movies.

By a forth Avengers movie ant man namor and black panther should all have at least had one chance to prove they could hold there own movies in solo films. Bucky and falcon made a good impression in TWS and have another movie for the GA to get into them more. Quicksilver, scarlet witch, vision, and hawk eye would have hopefully broke out in avengers 2 and returned in avengers 3 for more audience familiarity.

I'm not talking A3. I'm looking further ahead to a point were several films would have come out and the MCU could be anywhere from double to triple what it is now. I just think by then our mainstays could begin to feel stale. Especially with the pace the MCU is moving.

Not seeing any new pics recently..perhaps they are doing all those indoor green screen stuff

I want all the characters that are doing well to continue to do movies as long as they want to. I dont want changes for the sake of changes.
 
I really hope the next THOR film is way better than TDW. It was ok but I expected a lot more from it. Malekith totally paled in comparison to Loki.

Avengers 3: Its gonna be really weird when RDJ, Chris E arent around anymore. The end of that movie will def be the end of the current MCU era anyway. I agree w Scatterax, and hope they just kill off and/or retire IM & Cap characters and dont try to milk the hell out of em by replacing them with new actors (unless they can do it seamlessly, which wont be easy). It would feel more honest/respectful to the MCU if they either died in battle or just hung up the suit. Bring in the new heroes and let them be inspired by the guys who came before.

The worst thing for the MCU is to burn the fans out on characters by doing tons of sequels. That would ruin the greatness of it all and the reason why we get so excited to see the movies. They should have great stories to tell first, otherwise itll just be cheapened and lose the appreciation.

Agreed.
Audiences signed up to see The Avengers, and they're going to want their money's worth. Until any of the other characters prove that they can generate at least half a billion in sales, they don't need to become focal points for a "New Avengers."

The mantra for The Avengers should be "Expand, Not Replace." :word:
 
I've just seen a little bit of a tidbit from a friend of a friend. Nothing too exciting in terms of cast - just some explosions and stuff. But it was a military (possibly eastern european) site with some definite HYDRA tanks blowing stuff up and people scurrying everywhere.

Admittedly not exactly scoop of the century but a small update with regards to filming here in the UK. Maybe some more footage will appear.
 
Well if HYDRA is blowing stuff up then they're still are a big part of what's going on.
 
With TWS being called avengers 1.5 by kevin f. I believe hydra will certainly contribute to the rise of ultron in A2

Even if HYDRA doesn't contribute to the rise of Ultron, they'd still be connected because they gave the twins their powers.
 
To me HYDRA (the baddies) creating an AI that wants to wipe out all of humanity makes no sense. It really has to come from the good guys for it to work in the story.

After TWS, my hopes and expectations for the MCU movies are considerably higher. I'm scared, yet excited, for GOTG because it's following such a strong movie. Don't even get me started on Age of Ultron...TWS has changed everything for me.
 
^^ When I saw the GOTG trailer at TWS I got chills. Doesnt happen to me much these days. It really stands out and just exudes AWESOME. Its like The MCU version of Star Wars or something. I refer to it as "pulp science fiction". the whole OOGA CHAKA from "Hooked on A Feeling" was a great idea. I cant wait to hear other pop music featured in the film.

Ive never seen so many brushes and combs in my life. That lady has every haircare doodad and accessory known to man.
 
I wanna see steve rogers's hairstyle for A2!!! Looking foward to pictures!
